Peter Fuckintosh or how to destroy a centuries old culture by bringing it down to a cliche for tourists. The real connoisseurs of the Karyukai will understand . Damn the Kyoto Kagai is so dead . This has become Geisha Land , just an entertainment park for tourists . This being said , great video . And can this Pocchiri be any bigger ? Damn it is huge ! Beautiful blue and black combination and contrast between the Hikizuri and the Darari Obi .
well Fuckintosh is american and completely americanized the Karyukai and damaged it immensely so yes , you are right . The karyukai should be by Japanese and for Japanese only or for people who understand and respect it . Opening it up to everybody was a huge mistake . I was born in the Kagai (this is my husband's account) , my mother is a Geisha , and so were my grand mother, great grant mother and great great grand mother . And because i now this world since birth i can tell that nothing damaged it more than international influence , especially western influence because westerners have always tried to westernize it and never accepted that some things were just out of reach to them and reserved to an elite . You westerners want to have access to the Karyukai and almost demand it but you never try to have access to your private clubs in the US or the UK . Bu you believe that Japan should completely open up to you . I am married to a westerner and he completely agree with me . H has access to the Karyukai but only because he earned that access . He lived in Japan 25 years , speaks reads and write japanese perfectly , he has learned traditional japanese arts and understand this culture very well , but more importantly , he knows precisely how to behave with Geisha and has made many friends among them , maybe more than me who actually was raised by them . That's the only reasons why i have no issue with him sometimes spending time in the Kagai . But peter macintosh only tries to make money out of the kagai and forces it to open even more and make it more accessible to foreigners , especially westerners . and therefore damaging it even more . I know very well the Kyoto karyukai and i can tell you that outside Miyagawacho where he "works" he is persona non grata in evey other Kagai , Gion Kobu doesn't want to have anything to do with him, Gion Higashi and kamishichiken are off limit to Peter but Ponto Cho especially made it very clear to him that he should never try to bring his business there / But all this is nothing compared to Shimabara , because he even dares trying something with the Tayu after what he did to his wife , he will be lucky if the Kyoto police finds his body floating in the Kamo river . As for Tokyo , i know he tried Asakusa and Kagurazaka but they turned him down, the kagai of Kagurazaka has already had a very bad experience with the french community there so they will never let a westerner interfere with them ever again and then he had the nerve to go knocking at the doors of Shinbashi and Akasaka and then was WARNED by people there that if he even tries to get close to those two Kagai ever again , his visa will be cancelled and he will be forced to leave the country . True Geisha have more power and influence than 99% of the Japanese population , and 100% than any foreigner in this country so peter and you westerners can play yor little games under the feeling of being free , but this is not your country and when you push it to far , you can be sure that we will push back . Even two atomic bombs didn't break us so you will never won in Japan . This is a country by and for Japanese . As i said my husband earned his place in this country , peter , hasn't . Sorry i don't believe in god and though there are many interesting things in the west i still prefer Japan .
