I’m sure this education is somewhere available regardless of how 3rd word country is . all countries have some sort of airline for inside country flight an I’m sure they have some sort of training.
@Sebastian Rodriguez most training is probably not available in 3rd world countries so people have to go somewhere else to do the training. I do know a lot of pilots do because their countries don't have the resources or trainers.
Great instructions! Small side note: There are new versions available for some of the mentioned books: 1. Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge FAA-H-8083-25C 2. Airplane Flying Handbook FAA-H-8083-3C 3. Aviation Weather Handbook FAA-H-8083-28
If you'd like to skip the introduction to the class, head to 6:30. 21:15 if you want to get past all the book discussion and head straight into learning.
What a great teacher! To anyone watching: ground school is not required by the FAA, but an instructors sign off is. Listen to this video and save yourself hundreds of dollars on a formal classroom ground school. My family owned a flight school for many many years and this info is GOLD Edit: I just looked at other videos from this channel, holy hell…. THANK YOU SKY EAGLE. 🙏🏽 there’s hours and hours of content to watch!!
@@juaquin_dike start by going to meet n greet a training airport in your area go to google and look up flight training and flight schools in your area, go meet n greet, discuss your goals, wants and needs,, take a couple of flight sessions with them and see if you like it, and go from there, they will tell you what you need they will assess where you are at now and work with you based on where you want to go in your goals
@@juaquin_dike search for a flight school and take a experience flight first then ask about training after. You'll probably learn on a cessna 152 first should take around 50 hours. You then need to build up 250hours to go commercial witch will cost you a cool 80 grand, probably more than that taking into account accommodation and food. Cost is probably the biggest barrier in my opinion. Also I would recommend a flight simulator like ms 2020
This is outstanding! I've always been curious to learn about this and now that I'm turning 44 I figure it's time to pursue! The freedom would be unreal!
I’m working on becoming a CFI, I’m watching these videos to better learn how to teach and address students. I really like the way you teach and taking notes! Great videos and breaking down information for student pilots.
Iv got to say thank you thank you thank you. I had my induction flight Monday of Jan 2222. After I said yes I want to buy the books and start learning so my instructor sold me the books and said "ok start reading". That was it man. Left me high and dry to figure it out. I have no doubt he is a good pilot. Been flying for 20 plus years he said but not a good teacher. Finding this channel has gave me the hope that I can do this. I can use your lessons and my books and understand what to do and the steps to do it in. You guys are a God send. I'm going up today for my second time and hope that he is more teaching then just ya so this is flying you just do it.
Nice form of teaching!, by helping the students to face their problems in facing difficulties and not only teach them but to help them how to have new strategy. And also for sharing this online, more people will come to this Academy because they can see on what to expect that can make trust to the students. Im only 14 now hehehe
Hey @christopherhaney are you changing careers? I am thinking of a career change and was also thinking about going to ATP. It would be great if you would share some info about your decision.
And even though you understand better than you assume everyone else is capable of, you cannot compose a coherent sentence to brag about it. Lol. Idiot!
Best thing to do listen to the audio about 2-3 times buy the books or go online and read the material 5-10 times then go to some practice questions and answer each question as of you were in a written or written check ride exam as a PPL this is good material and he is a good teacher Sky Eagle is were i obtained it from
It has been surprisingly challenging to find a flight school as thorough as this one seems in my area, which is bizarre considering I live just outside the air capital; especially when trying to use my GI bill. Looks like I'm going to have to travel at least 3 hours for flight school, and I'm totally doing it. Got the GI bill stuff figured out, making calls daily, and studying. Wish you guys were near me!
@@Laura-tp8wz thank you so much!! I may actually have lucked out a bit, as it looks like Wichita State University JUST began an excellent 2 year program that the VA recognizes so I can use my GI bill, and it's MUCH closer than the alternative! I am SO excited 😁!!
two cents / one note: might confuse ppl's - category is usually in reference to the certification of airmen not aircraft. So category is for ex: airplane, heli, balloon. Class would be: single engine land, single engine sea, multi ; where as in the video is referring to aircraft categories ie: normal, utility, aerobatic and classes as airplane, heli, balloon.
Im 15 and about to turn 16 in may... I really really really want to become a private pilot and go anywhere I want. It has always been my dream ever since I had my first flight at 6 years old!!! It is my passion to become a pilot.... I heard that it is very expensive to go to flight school. So I am very grateful for this free information!! This is my first step to becoming a pilot 💙💙💙
same birthday month, happy birthday in arriance lol,I don't know if u are okay with being friends cos its good to at least know someone your age that can help u understand better :)
thank you so much, as a person who is very much a visual hands on thinker / earner, this and other pilot training videos have been super helpful as reading a book just does not work for me due to me having a processing issue --- i can read of course, but when i have hands on instruction and or im shown visually, and the reading material is much easier to process retain and understand. then i get it , i usually understand very well and can perform the task -- please keep these coming , much thanks !
Please guys. Listen to this entire series and TAKE NOTES! This knowledge is very difficult to maintain as well as expensive. This series is helping me out a lot and will help you as well.
Hi Niel, Thank you for your reply. Glad you are enjoying our videos. If you are local, we can set you up with a discovery flight. Please feel free to email me at cris@skyeagleaviation.com with any questions you may have.
Join the Civil Air Patrol.....majority of my cadets and others that I know that they want to get their private pilot and continue there goals in the university
Great Videos! I'm starting PP class soon. Should I read and take the PP test before starting the class. I keep hearing that I should take that approach. Thank you for your time!
Thank you for this resource, SkyEagle Aviation Academy! I'm getting ready to start my training and want to get a head start reading the material and familiarizing myself with this world, so this series of videos will be very useful.

Haa. I like this beautiful topics, I will learns through RU-vid is my teacher. I'm south Sudan Ruweng Administrative Area. 🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸🇸. To be a pilot is a second God,why because I have a life in the board I am the life of the life the passengers in plane🛫✈✈.
haha so true, yep, teachers used to say, hey go look it up, theyd sometimes help you with the spelling in order for you to find it in the dictionary, but yeah they had us do the work , think observe, process. -- but no beatings lol
@@randomstranger7471 Going to flight school is no different from University. There are scholarships and student loans for flight school.. You just have to look them up. I am not rich, but I qualify for student loans that will pay for my flight school, just like they would pay for my university.
Always wanted to fly but finances and family obligations prevented it. Now that I can afford it my health won’t allow me to pass the physical exam. Thinking about LSA as an option.
Semper Fi, Zeke! Medically retired USMC machinegunner myself, and just beginning the process of becoming a professional pilot. I wish you all the best (even though you're a nasty lil Army officer thing 🤣 ABSOLUTELY kidding brotha)!! Please check back in and let us know how you make out! Also, I wish you a safe and successful military career 🤗💚
Im 72 learned to fly a cessna 150 in '75. Then rented cessna 152's for 40 years. Took friends flying . My advice from the years : when turning base to final , keep bank less tha 30 degrees, keep airspeed up , KEEP RUDDER COORINATED. Ball in center. Stall spin is to be avoided . 😊
My flight school near me let’s me go at 14 I’m worried I won’t have the basic math skills to go into it with a strong mind and finish. What math skills do I need to do the homework and studying
