Started flight school two weeks ago. I feel lost and it's frustrating because they go so fast. Thanks for this video this explains everything we are going over in principles of flight. It's one AM and between work, kids, school it's a very daunting task. However it's my dream to earn my PPL and dreams take work and action to manifest. Thank you for making this video as I can refer to it now everyday until I completely understand how the fluid works around the wing and the cord line. So much more to learn . My brain is mush 😂

Don't give up, keep at it. I soloed in a Diamond DA20 about 20 years ago. But, just like you, I did not have much spare time for continuing to my PPL. I told myself that I would go back to it after retirement. Well, I retired in 2020 and the bug hit. So, I had to postpone my dream of getting my PPL. Now, I'm planning to go back to training next year, at age 67. So, as you can see, it's never too late to go for your dreams and accomplish your goals. Remember, a good pilot is always learning. Above all, do not Stall, control Yaw and you'll be fine.

Joel, What make/model of airplane will you be training and eventually soloing in? Also, is a 6 pack or glass cockpit like a Garmin G1000 Nxi?

I started January 2023 completed three exams had 10 lessons so far. Going to finish exams then fly again with a different school, my current school my last instructor seems to shoot me down if I don’t understand a certain term. Also couldn’t control a stall because I told him my seat has dropped so I had no reference to the horizon. I’m learning and it’s his job to help rather than just build up his own hours, so I’m currently put off with my ppl

Just started flight school less than a week ago, not completely lost but also not completely understanding everything. This video breaks down what we’re learning in school in a slower, yet productive way. Thank you for making this video! I’m looking to get my PPL in 2 months.

how is the material/study required for ATP ?
@Oguzstyler
@Oguzstyler 3 года назад
@@muzikaddict2010 It depends on the country you are taking the atpl exams. Every country have their own question database. According to this you decide which question bank (source) is the best option for you. If you guys gonna take the exams in the countries of Poland, Hungary or Austria just let me know and I will guide you. It is very important which source you need to study. At EASA there is no way to pass the exams by learning (maybe only for UK). Because there is more than 40.000 questions you might find and try to study. That's exhaustive and at one point impossible. That's why you need know which question database you require. Cheers

Do these courses cover all of the content that's on the FAA Private Pilot knowledge exam? Or do I need to supplement this with other materials?

5:24 - "rejoin and resume at identical velocities" - this sounds like the infamous 'equal transit' theory

What's the difference between Bernoulli's theorem and the Magnus effect?
@pritikaneupane5725
@pritikaneupane5725 6 лет назад
paulmurphy42 Magnus effect talks about air conductivity and creation of high pressure and low pressure whereas Bernoulli's principle talks about the faster fluid creates less pressure and viceversa. I think so.

Erroneous info at 4:33 as the wing is not spinning. The "Coanda effect" is the moving fluid sticking on adjacent surface and explains the airflow over the wing profile. Also 5:23 claim is false, the flows don't have identical velocities, the upper flow is faster. Experiments are made with a strobe light and smoke in wind tunnels and shows the faster upper flow.
@sebs9511
@sebs9511 5 лет назад
La 4:33 imi da cu virgula, de ce s-ar misca aerul mai incet sub un cilindru perfect simetric care se roteste? Este totusi o diferenta dintre un cilindru si o aripa. P.S.: Are legatura cu vacuum?

@SuicidalSummerSnowWoman
@SuicidalSummerSnowWoman 2 года назад
@@sebs9511 the cylinder stuff makes sense but i dont know how its analogous to the wing...in the rotation cylinder upper portion is moving with the flow of the flyid where the lower portion is moving against it which creates friction and so slower speed below and faster above... with the wing...i dont know
