Nice shave Manny! As far as the blades being the same as Solingen blades goes Merkur / Dovo is the company that makes the blades. Solingen which is printed on the packs is the city in North Rhine Germany where the blades and razors are made. I don't get along with any of the Merkur blades myself. Russ makes some great soaps. Sorry for just getting to your video Manny!! Still catching up.... what a great shave!! That soap is really killer. I love the scent... and glad you like the performance too!!!! Excellent!! The Merkur blades have been a bit hit or miss... as of the other day when it gave a really nice shave, I would have put them in Not So Good pile. I'll now reevaluate them. I'm really surprised that they work so well for you. That's fantastic!! I guess you're one of the chosen ;-) Tony already explained the Solingen part... and as far as who makes what blade... that's a jungle I'm still trying to figure out. Great shave Manny!! Always a pleasure watching your shaves.... see you bro!!!
