This would have to be one of the most beautiful tombs in the Valley of the Kings I was in this tomb back in 1991 I was fortunate enough to be the only tourist in this tomb, so yes I did have the tomb of Seti 1 to myself. I have also been reading about what the Spanish company call Factum foundation has been doing to replicate this tomb. It does sadden me to see the big cracks in the ceiling, its still totally beautiful thanks Curtis.

I think the scanning is a great tool to help preserve it, but I totally agree with it being limited to public to reduce the damage. while I was in there a piece of the ceiling fell down. ok like 2 cm only. but will I told the guard and he thanked me and said they would be coming in a few days to repair it.

The art is breathtaking. The marks of time only add to its beauty. Thank you so much for posting this video. I wonder if anything is known of what Egyptian music sounded like? They say Verdi used Egyptian themes for Aida, but I wonder whether they were truly from the Pharoic era? I am looking forward to following your channel.

Thank you for acknowledging that it was the Italian Giovanni Belzoni who discovered it. I am curios what were his thoughts as he saw all that at his torchlight for the first time after so many centuries

Hauntingly beautiful visuals and music. Are all of the colors original? Just wondering if there's been any restoration painting done.

Just extraordinary, my friend! That tomb is breathtaking. The video is extremely well done, as always. You communicate the awe and the excitement so well. The music adds a great deal to the majesty. I'm curious as to why the new Pharoah didn't have his Dad's tomb finished before it was sealed? It could most certainly have been guarded during the process. I am sure that their religion had much to do with it, but it just doesn't make sense to me that they wouldn't take the time and effort to finish off the work in the tomb, when such things clearly meant so much to them. Thanks for sharing your passion and your art with us all. Please keep the outstanding videos coming and God bless you, my friend!

Well, thanks for watching Shane, the tomb was probably left unfinished as a decoy - that Is one theory. Another is that it really was not finished as Seti died at 37 and the tomb was sooo vast it could not be completed in time.
