It is sleek, very confortable and ultra luxurious. It has the smartest layout. The build quality, the fit and finish, the wood work and fabrics are just out of this world. You can argue about average sailing performance but who care about speed ? It is all about confort and safety. You can option it with a carbon rig and agressive sail plan to make an average 8 or 9 knot speed but perhaps the most important drawback of a Privilege 580 is an its advantage of being big, too big in fact that it is quiet difficult to manœuvre it single handed of even by a sailing couple. That is why it need to be equiped with a bow thruster and yacht controller wireless device that are linked to the shaft line motors to deliver state of the art manœuvring and docking joystick experience.

Privilege has taken the holiday platform to a whole new level and for this price point ( 3.4 € mln ) the only competitor that can provide practically the same level of comfort but with stellar performance is kinetic 54. It depends alson on weather you need to go the extra miles too !
I agree with one of the comments above that the 510 is good enough. I mean, as beautiful as it is, you can buy 2 Balis for the price of a privilege 580. It's nicer but not twice as nice.
