Pro Lima have the Apollo career center. Where you can obtain your Cdl. Heavy equipment. HVAC,nursing certificate for cheap. They also got unoh college and a beauty school. Lima has a lot of opportunities

I lived in Lima OH until the end of the 3rd grade and it was the best time of my life. I haven't been back for a visit but am planning to make a trip there.
L.I.M.A. Lost In Middle America was an old PBS documentary from the 80’s. I moved from the area 25 years ago. There are some really great people in the community but there aren’t a lot of opportunities unless your willing to drive 30 minutes or more to a factory that pays a decent wage. I enjoy myself when I visit but I don’t look in the rear view on my way out of town
Soooo… I’m moving to Lima this coming Sunday with two toddlers. My man works on the oil rigs and he has had nothing bad to say about it. I don’t do much anyways but I’ll be like 10 mins from the mall. Would it be safe enough for me to bring my kids to the mall or we talking like it’s the Bronx 🤣👀💯
Don’t be afraid to go outside it’s not that bad lol. But don’t be surprised if the mall is emptier than your used to. I haven’t been able in Lima for over two years now so I’m not really sure how much things have changed in that time
I mean Im in Wallace North Carolina. It doesn’t get much more desolate or boring than this. I’m originally from a small town outside of Boston Mass and there was enough to do. Here there’s nothing but farms and fast food. I love the farm life and slow living I can’t stand the cities. As long as I don’t need to worry about being alone with two toddlers to get out I’m good.
There was a bar, Murphy's, that was ok. However, there was also a deli there where I would buy chili dogs until I realized they were the source of my intestinal disorder. They gave me the worse diarrhea. It was like regular diarrhea with molasses and maple syrup mixed in it. I couldnt live there long term. It was depressing and dirty. Findlay Ohio was a bit nicer with better looking broads.
I haven’t lived theyre now in almost 5 years, a lot can change in 5 years, the best thing I can say what’s bad for me may be good for you. We all belong somewhere 💯
