You can increase your reaction time via exercises. I do Bruce Lee's workout routines which include building up twitch muscle fibers, some isometrics, etc. He was insanely fast and my average reaction time is 116ms - 125ms on human benchmark (that was a year ago I haven't used it since) but i highly recommend reading up on him and his body of work

Idk about the omega 3s… I used to have really bad case of brain fog and it turned out to be the omega 3… Stopped taking it and my brain is finally back… maybe genetic abnormalities or something since it’s supposed to be beneficial right…?

I probably won't mess with rotation, but I guess my aiming tip would be to figure out the biomechanics of smooth aim, reactivity, and precision. Also stability and contact points vs mobility and less contact points such as keeping elbow off the table or fingertip grip. Imo, most of the different biomechanics are game dependant, but from what I gather... Forearm is smoothest, wrist is for close to medium range reactivity (ADAD), fingertip is a cherry on top with contact points add extra feel and at long range help you make smaller precise mouse movements, fingertips are precision and micro control. At close to medium range, fingettip aim unless on high sens doesn't seem to do anything significant, but the further away the target the more magnified the motion becomes. Forearm is always primarily used for smoothness and macro motion at any range whether horizontal or vertical tracking. And depending on the adad speed in game and how fast people can run, you might have to ratio and combine all of the bio mechanics to ever improve. Its best to always identify the properties of targets in a game, and sort of workout how best to balance your biomechanics. I learned that stability is almost always key and the more stability combined with crosshair placement, the less effort needed for precision, negatively it causes friction and less smoothness. On vertical tracking especially at close range?, less contact points are better, remove the elboe from the mouse pad basically.

For Razer it's a bit hard to say. If your hands are on the average to smaller side, then the Viper would be okay. The DA V3 (and i'm guessing the previous versions too) still work with this grip, but it's not ideal. That mice is designed with palm grip in mind.

@AliChitax
@AliChitax Год назад
@@mori666 but to become a god in aiming, reaction time matters if you face an enemy with the same skill but a worse reaction time , for instance if my aim is bad , a reaction time of 100 can't save me as well ! It's like a puzzle, being in the top 1% in reaction time is one piece , I also have 2 pc setups , one is 60FPS , both the monitor and the game , one is 240FPS and the game runs at 150FPS , the difference between a good setup and a perfect setup is way higher than 20-30ms of reaction time , again, it only matters if you face an enemy with the same skillsets and setup and ping , my ping is 120-150 in all games and until that huge 70-80 ms difference with other players is in place , I can't say my reaction time makes a difference

How do you get passed overthinking your grip style / overthinking about your sensitivity? I been trynna take my aim journey a bit more serious but I keep changing my cm/360 everyday :/
@StruthGaming
@StruthGaming Год назад
To be honest it's not easy but here are a few things that help. Firstly, changing things up doesn't mean you lose anything. You don't "lose" muscle memory on your favorite sens after swapping, so if you happen to swap it around there's no stress. Secondly, the brain can be annoyingly bias. If you feel like you're in this loop of never finding a good sens, you probably have subconscious, or even conscious bias that "oh I missed shots on 3.2 so it's terrible" or "anything under 3 is too slow" etc. Often these are total fiction. In this case i'll change my DPI from say 800 > 1200 so the mental math isn't automatic (like 800 > 1600) and start fresh to find that comfortable sensitivity without all that accumulated bias getting in the way. Thirdly, I find it crucial to always have intent. If you're fussing about your mouse grip, what's the intent? What feels uncomfortable, what do you think your end goal would feel like, how do you get there? Try not to iterate aimlessly. To expand on this, having an appreciation of the overall picture can help put things into perspective. To me, aiming is about perfecting the interface between our brain, body, mouse and mousepad to that crosshair on screen. We know where we want that crosshair to go, so we have to optimize that interface to get it there. Aiming should feel as instinctive as possible, you shouldn't have to fight your crosshair. Fourth, your aim won't feel the same every day, that's a fact and it sucks. You can take steps to make it more consistent but there will be good days and bad days. That turned into an essay, but hopefully that helped and didn't simply add more confusion or things for you to worry about :)
@Godzilla015
@Godzilla015 Год назад
@@StruthGaming thank you appreciate you taking the time out of your day to respond I'll change my mindset and hopefully stop overthinking about sens/grip and try to improve as much as I can I forget we all have good and bad days

Finding the right mouse shape is huge. I was in a similar boat as you, have nerve damage in my mouse hand so can't feel my pinky. So I constantly changed my grip around on viper v2 pro, which was a little big for my hand size and lack of control with pinky finger. Picked up a X2 mini and with a relaxed claw, don't even think about grip anymore. Once you find the right shape, sensitivity just comes down to what's most consistent for you.
@xd-qi6ry
@xd-qi6ry Год назад
You say to yourself the more comfortable i’am with changing sensitivities often the more used to all sens i will get the easier it is to find what i like, the easier it is to refine to a super consistent sens and before you know it you are extremely adaptable with anything any time but know your style and the cm 360 to go with it, i never thought i’d be the guy playing 52 cm 360 for games like cs and switching to a more comfortable hip for tracking games yet my perfect ads in apex per-say is quite literally almost the same sens in cs.

one thing i use to get better focus is i wear a golf visor, the rim of the visor condense the aperture of my vision, making focusing on an enemy much easier. this is actually scientific. according stanford neuro biologist andrew huberman, your focus and your vision aperture have a inverse relation ship. the wider the aperture, the less focus you have, the smaller the aperture, the more focus you have, and i attest you this is true with a baseball hat or visor, as the rim of your hat will block off aperture in your vision, effectively shrinking it.

@@StruthGaming yeah. -2 worked with my grip I had developed over the years to compensate for the angle, but I'm trying to grip the mouse more naturally and adjust the angle accordingly to what is comfortable, sitting around -6.3 now, gonna keep messing with it. Not having to overcome the biomechanics is great, makes you wonder why mice, especially right handed only mice, don't already do this. Where I've seen the biggest improvement with the new orientation is on side to side tracking scenarios, especially thin gauntlet and similar ones.

@StruthGaming
@StruthGaming Год назад
I just turned 30 a week ago actually. To be honest with you my reaction time is the best it's ever been. I attribute the improvement to diet and exercise primarily (have always exercised but not always had fish oil/diet). Minimizing life stress and optimizing sleep also go a long way.
@StruthGaming
@StruthGaming Год назад
I've found that it takes a shockingly low amount of time to become proficient at something if the practice is focused. I'm guessing that comes more naturally to younger players, whereas older players with stressors/responsibilities can have trouble dedicating that much energy to video games. Older players will also have firmly established habits and playstyles that simply may not be competitive anymore. These aren't set in stone, but would take some effort to consciously overcome and improve upon. These are both topics i'll be addressing soon, so I can get into more detail then :) Hope that helps for now.

I have seen the videos on rawaccel. Serious question tho, how is it not considered a form of cheating like anti recoil or is it just angle snapping basically?
@StruthGaming
@StruthGaming Год назад
Using Rawaccel to adjust sensor orientation is totally benign, it's the same as if the mouse manufacturer installed the sensor at a different angle. I think if mouse acceleration provided significant aim improvements to anyone that used it then it would be more contentious, but the reality is that very few people stick with it, let alone aim better on it so it's not really an issue.
