Today i bought the very same white short dagger brush to make markings in abstract paintings and i find my self watching the amazing master artist , i sadly learned he passed away and I will paint a small tree and some grass in one corner of my abstract painting for giving thanks to this amazing teacher.RIP
Terry painted in both watercolour and acrylics with his brushes, however, he used the 'soft flow' liquitex brand as well as his own colours which are a soft consistency. If you have a heavy body acrylics and you dilute them, remember to use a flow enhancer and avoid water, especially if you use a canvas rather than paper :)
Fiona Peart ❤️ thank you... I don’t have many soft color here in my part of japan but I can maybe use a medium t change the heavy body....I don’t tend to use water but I will purchase flow enhancer... used a food type when I sculpted cakes, never thought of it for paints, great advice! Thank you
I am here again, you make watercolour look so easy, now I can do it and all because you. I find that you are a good presenter on u-tube, and also your teaching methods in your books. Thanks again
Thanks Terry....I have been sooooo struggling with painting grass and rocks in oil. Can never find the right brush......this demo is great and a huge help! Any more tricks with a 'rigger' or leaves on trees?
Sadly Terry is with us no more, but he left a wonderful legacy. I recommend The Painting and Drawing Channel where Terry was a major contributor along with his partner, Fiona Peart. 🙂
