I can flub my words just like anyone else. By the time I said that, I was just paying attention to the gobo arm and wasn't thinking about the rest of the build. I pinned your comment because you were right and I wanted anyone that saw your comment to realize my mistake so they get it right.

That was definitely a camera person playing the role of sound person. 😁 Another thing that gets me is how he set up that spreader stand. Those bars that connect the center column outwards to the legs, as a general rule of thumb, should be level. When they're tilted up or down then the legs are not spread out to their maximum width. When it comes to stability, the wider the area the legs cover the more stable the stand. I get that it's a small space, but there was plenty of room for those legs to reach max spread.

eny allen, i;d love to see an episode where you talk how sound mixers and boom operators record sounds when working with IMAX camera, that is super noisy, i wonder its mainly a job in post, but they do have to record some location sound, i am baffled on how that process works.

@@SoundSpeeds ah ok, they use exclusively lavs? they have to do some izotope RX to clean up the noise from the camera i suppose, or they do ADR?
