Its true though. A hotdog is a bad meal. A hotdog with fries is a good meal. A plate of dumplings is a bad snack. A plate of dumplings paired with a bowl of ramen is a good meal. Its true for all the items except cinnamon bun.

That’s what I’m saying they’re literally all part of a meal if you added sides. You can’t ask if a side is a meal or a main course by itself is a meal. All together they’re a meal so apart it wouldn’t necessarily make them a snack.

@KatieRouge That's because hummus is routinely eaten in the Middle East and in Israel as a meal. Hummus is used as a carb base like a bowl of rice. Or nachos! You put other stuff on the bed of hummus like spicy ground meat or shawarma meat or kababs, salad leaves, olives, pickled veggies etc. And then drizzle oil and sprinkle some paprika. So it is eaten exactly the same way nachos are typically eaten - fully loaded.

@John Rankin You must be a real ightweight. I’d only understand someone not being able to finish a big cinnamon bun if they’d had gastric bypass or something. Also just because huge buns exist it doesn’t make that the standard. Cinnamon buns are a Swedish invention and the originals as well as most of the ones being made are small enough to eat multiple.

That depends on your ingredients to make pancakes or french toast. The version I grew up eating? Not better than cinnamon rolls. What I make for myself now? Better than cinnamon rolls. Pancakes are actually easy to make nutritionally superior and still actually taste good.

@@sasha1192 It's not only the sugar. Good cinnamon roll dough also has a surprising amount of butter. But again, the nutritional value of all of the above really depends on the recipe. All of them are better as treat breakfasts than everyday breafasts.

Agreed, if you go through hard times, you take what you can get and try to appreciate it. But they at least admit at the end that their jobs put them in the privileged position to constantly eat a lot of food (especially of diverse and elaborate plates), so if it's not a really big portion, to them it's a snack or a sad excuse for a meal.

In Italy there are restaurants where you hace one slice, it's very thick, maybe 3/4 fingers high, lots of cheese and they can get pretty big, the last time I ate one I didn't finish it. The most well known chain that sell these is called Spontini, but that pizza's not that big

@@culodesobra ive literally only eaten nachos as a meal and i have no regrets. I usually get nachos at a sporting event, I get a bucket, and it is often the only thing I eat *that day*. Just a bucket of nachos. With like a quarter pound of steak mixed in, and black beans, and cheese, and maybe some chicken, and some refried beans, and salsa. A bucket of that. Its like 4000 calories and it makes me feel sick for like a week but I dont care its nachos who doesn't like nachos?

NWinnStudio no pancakes cereal etc etc don’t contain 65 grams of sugar and are actually somewhat nutritious, not just cinnamon sugar bread topped with more sugar cream. Cinnabon also contains 90% of your recommended total sat fat in a day... also almost 1000 calories, a,most half the calories someone would eat in a day
