The video states that the spindle is quiet and reliable. When frank was building his the video shows him surfacing the table with this spindle and he was wearing ear protection. What is the decibel rating of the spindle?

hii there would you please tell me that to which other software than Mach 3 , this plug and play is compatible with.

Hi, The main switch on the panel should isolate all equipment within. From what I can see on the video the independent relay controlled outlets are not. Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave, That's right, the power entry switch only serves to isolate the enclosure from mains/line power. -Nathan

Keep in mind when shopping Avid that essential systems, such as this, are not included when selecting a machine. Sure, we expect a CAM system and typically the spindle to be an additional expenses... but not a spindle mount, motor power control systems, gross CNC control systems, limit switches, table legs on a non-table top system. Take whatever the base system cost and multiply by 1.5- then start budgeting for tooling, fixtures, dust management, CAD...

I like the video, but is there a more current video to match the current sensor locations.

I have a Question about the Relay ports. Are they IEC320 C13/C14 plugs ?

Would a typical computer power cable work for the Relay1,2 input?

Replaced my old system with the CNCRP NEMA 23 Plug and Play and the motors now are almost silent. Super fast too.

I would like to know more about the drive motors and how they are tuned to the mechanics so that you get accurate movement.

6:25 mine does not have X+ sensor port mine has A sensor port instead...why? he connects 6 sensor cables but mine only came with 5...why? maybe an updated video for this one also.

Hello, I live in Texas, and during the summer it gets around 95 degrees in my garage. My older CNC box (from another company) got too hot in the garage and would lose its communication on long cuts. Do you think I would have a problem with overheating from one of your boxes?
@AvidCNC
@AvidCNC 7 лет назад
Hi Randy - Thanks for your question! Yes, 95℉ would be within the thermal performance range of our Plug-and-Play Controllers. Feel free to call or contact us directly at sales@cncrouterparts.com if you'd like to discuss your application in more detail. -Nathan

Nathan- Do you guys use the PROTUNER software on the drivers to get the best tuning or are they good right out of the box with your motors?
@AvidCNC
@AvidCNC 7 лет назад
Hi Eric - Good question. Our NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 motor tuning parameters come optimized out-of-the-box in our Mach pre-configured machine profiles. Thanks! -Nathan

cncrouterparts Nathan- thanks for the reply. Do you guys plan on making any changes to the electronics packages anytime soon? upgrades etc? or to the spindle packages?

Is there an option to hang the control enclosures out of the way, like recessed so they are not on the edge of workspace where I will bang my knees on them every operation? It would seem if they could be arranged at 90 degrees to the side of rails under the edge rails, then the switches would be exposed on that surface.
@AvidCNC
@AvidCNC 3 года назад
The kits are customizable, you can place the control boxes where you'd prefer. We have hanging options coming soon. Some customers choose to hang them on the shop wall, or in a computer desk beside the machine. Check out Izzy Swan's recent CNC computer desk!

@@AvidCNC Do I understand correctly that the control boxes can be mounted on either side of the machine? Inside or outside? Front or back?

I'm curious, is the orange part inside the enclosure plastic or steel?
@AvidCNC
@AvidCNC 2 года назад
It is a powder coated steel plate.

Hi, Do you have filter units for the cooling fans to stop the egress of dust into the electronics. Cheers Dave
@AvidCNC
@AvidCNC 7 лет назад
Hi Dave - The enclosure air intake (opposite side from fan) has a filter screen for moderate-sized particles, customers typically have not found it necessary to install a higher density filter element. Thanks! -Nathan
