I tried it with serato as well. I would suggest anyone to use “standalone” dj gear in “standalone mode” all the time! 😉 that what feels the best and where you get most out of your gear if it has this capability. Get rid of your laptop, all the functions and controls work properly and it’s the most fun and native experience. But i have to say im not a fan of a laptop for djing and never will be. That’s why I use standalone gear most of the time.

It reads the data from usb but I guess it has a small internal memory to save the data of hot cues and loops and so on.. or maybe it stores this kinda data on the usb stick.

⁠just go to the settings page and then on record at the bottom. It Rekords it to one of the usbs or sd cards inserted. You can choose I guess.
