While James is consistent with running the ideal line through the course, Piotr is willing to sacrifice certain aspects of the line for an aggressive chase. Piotr is so much more exciting to watch, because he just goes for it.
He actually has two different S15s, one of them was used during the 17-18 seasons and the other was used during the 2019 season. Which is currently being used in Drift Masters.
Pietr is the one who taught me how to say "Beeg TuRRRRbo" properly... Mad respect to this dude, he's so underrated and underpraised... Can't call him the Worthouse #2, but rather the other #1... Like InitialD's Twin-Aces...
If you have any inside information as to why worth house no longer compete in Formula Drift in America and also why James Dean left the team that would be some great Intel
Not 100% but I would just say probably just difference of directions with things. It gets hard when like your company wants to go one way but as a driver you want to go the other. Not to mention a lot of times when you drive for a company and their car, as a driver you get scapegoated a lot if something goes wrong. Not at all saying James is a bad driver, but just speaking as a driver in general, it does get stressful so that probably was a couple factors. I wouldn't go so far as to say they ended on bad terms or anything though.
Honestly as long as the tracks sick, i dont care personally. I think the best tracks are the ones that are fast but have sections that are very technical. Tracks that are overly technical burn you out quickly
Duuude now you should definitely react to Drift Masters. Im from Latvia so i suggest checking out Bikerniek race track, one of the stages on Drift Masters. Its the fastest track on the DMEC calender and one of the fastest track also in the world for drifting
So the guy in Piotr video driving the s14 is his spotter lukaz I think that’s how you spell it he a very good driver and he competed in sim drifting and is insane sim driver I’ve driven with him online I don’t think I’ll ever get as smooth as him
@@MrBassbump eh yes and no, they aren't really the same thing. Someone whos more well versed on a smaller, slower track isn't necessarily more skilled than say an American FD driver. Its a different game. Just because the turn is long doesn't mean its easy to drift. Car's are set up relative to the track conditions, a well setup car for dry weather is going to under perform in rain/snow and vice versa
@@MrBassbump Nah that's just not the case.. You are traveling at a lot higher speeds, controlling the car becomes a lot more difficult the faster you are going. Saying its significantly easier is just straight up wrong. They are both very hard for a different set of reasons
Hey Haugen , what’s ur dream drift ride? I would personally love having a 4-rotor Wankel rotary engine ( the one from the RX-7) swapped Nissan SIlvia S13
I know this series is about reacting to pro drifters doing pro stuff, but can you react to Piotr's swingo? His drift twingo! Ngl it's my favorite drift car ever just because of how weird it is. It's on his personal channel.
So actually he bought this r34 already built with rb and it blow up in first round. And after long fight they decided to put 2j innit to have more reliable setup
People choose 2JZ over RB, because they are basically indestructible, unlike RB. You don’t see almost any RB engines in top level, while 2JZs are a dominant power plant in pro drift.
Ugh Piotr and James actually made 2 brand new cars for FD last year but obviously because what happened in the world they couldn't compete. James Deane is actually restoring his 1st FD Championship car be cause why not lol.
@@HaugenRacing yeah he also has a slightly lower powered lhd yellow s14 that not many people know of. I only know it because James drove it once in 2017 when his car broke.
Imo James is the better chase driver because he is much more consistent/precise, Piotr also yeets it into people sometimes....But I like his agression, it's crazy!
Honestly I feel between Piotr and James.... Piotr is the better "Driver" between the two. But Dean is much more consistent all rounder than Piotr is. James tends to be.... while aggressive more methodical and calculated in his approaches to battles. He won't push it more than he has to if he know's he has an advantage. Where Piotr is more aggressive and instinctual. He goes hard every battle, every run....rather it be lead or follow. Even if he has a 10 zero advantage in his favor he'll still lay it on the guy when he chases. Which while exciting for the fans... has bitten him more than once in battles in FD, and Drift Masters. James wins most of his leads by running super consistent qualifying lines over and over again. Where Piotr wins most of his leads by his raw speed and pulling away from his opponents. James chases are won by being smooth but staying just close enough to be aggressive. Where as Piotr's chases are won because of the wild, raw flare and just pushes people through the course. But thats the simplest way of putting it... Piotr has aggression, speed and flare.... James has consistency, smoothness and precision.
I think Piotr have no pressure to perform, that s why he s much more agressive than James. Piotr basically supports himself, worthouse/budmat is his fathers company. At the weekend he won both DMEC run at austria, and you can see how chill and and easy going is he.
