The reason why they chose the desert to film this video i think was inspired by the slogan “With you, even the desert becomes the sea.”, which were used by ARMYs in concerts as signs to hold up. Hence, the background noise you hear of the waves at the beginning and end of the mv - to hear the sound of waves in a desert, the slogan was made true 🥹💜

love all of the references they made throughout the video -seating in the beginning (Just one day) -Jin’s pose (fake luv) -tae and the rose (boy in luv) -the truck (run, i need u) - the carousel (spring day) - the angel statue (Blood sweat and tears) -flowers (stay gold) - the box car (run) -the train (spring day) -jimin gesturing us to come with him (spring day) -jin covering tae's eyes (Blood sweat and tears) -jk running up hill by himself (on) -jk balancing on the sand (euphoria) -yellow bus (no more dream) -tae doing the camera thing (jin did this in spring day) -their clothing represents different eras -and their positioning at the end also resembles their positioning in spring day They chose some of their best moments from this chapter of their lives, and are preparing for a new chapter that is yet to come. It has already been mentioned that they’re seated in exactly the same way on the bus as they were in the train car in Spring Day, but in No More Dream, they never got back on the bus. So there’s clearly a symbolic reference here that they’re ready for the next chapter in their journey. Some of the scenes where they are running are also homages to their previous music videos. I’m really intrigued by JK’s jacket. It must mean something.

The bus is from their debut song 'No more Dream'✅ And the way they are siting in the bus, is the same way they are seated in the train in the MV 'Spring Day'😊 I guess it the bus means the past and them in white suites means the future💜

I'm getting a weird feeling since they are all on the bus at the end, ALL members are going to enlist in the military at the same time, so they can stay together. I'm unsure if they managed to be exempt from their military duty, but this song is giving me "don't forget us, we'll be back soon" vibes.

At the end, when they're in the bus, we can hear the sea even though they're in a desert. They only see the desert they're in, but we get to hear the sound of the sea too. It's like at the beginning of their career, their first mv, they thought they had the desert but only us, the fans, knew they will have the sea (or something like that, that's my theory idk)

The bus is from one of BTS' debut songs, "No More Dream", in the MV they arrive by literally crashing it onto the set, then getting off for a quick introduction to the members. No More Dream is a song about the disillusioned hopeless youth and a society that encurages them to give up on their dreams quickly, in order to have a successful career. The message of No More Dream is to be rebellious and chase dreams. Of course, that makes it pretty relevant to "Yet To Come", seeing as BTS have pushed many modern topics and literally changed the Kpop game. The bus from the first video being in the most recent is like BTS telling us: "We haven't changed; we aren't finished. We are the same people and we will continue chasing our dream."

This made me cry buckets, knowing what BTS and ARMY have been through in the last 9-almost 10 years. This song just carries so much weight. And if you really internalize the lyrics of the song and all that is reminiscent (references) of their entire career, BTS has been the same. Their message from the very beginning is so consistent and clear. It almost seems like a farewell song, and honestly I don't want it to be. It's like a homage to themselves and their fans. So bittersweet, simple but still full of hope. So if BTS can say the BEST IS YET TO COME, as ARMY I'm gonna take it from them. I'm gonna live my life moving forward just like I've always done.

They say "We're going back to 1" while on the back of the truck, which I think means going back to square one, feeling like they want a clean slate like you suggested with the outfits. Going into the bus at the end just shows that even more. Reminiscing in the bus that started it all. I don't think they wanna wipe away the past either, but they want to remind everyone that even though things seem different now than when they started, things really never changed. They still live as music and artists for healing, like the slogan from BigHit, now Hybe. I'm just excited to keep doing what I've done and stay by their sides as their support so we all can one day touch the sky together.

to me the mv being set on a desert is very significant how they're reminiscing their journey and what they have succeeded now with reference to their track Sea from ly:her "the desert we feared got filled with our blood, sweat, and tears to become the sea" its their legacy(sea) they've built from scratch(desert)

Remember they've used white suits for N.O., ON and Life Goes On mv respectively. Suga and the blooms can also represent a portion of the Stay Gold mv aside from First Love. RM's denim jacket, recall to I Need You, JK running around arms stretch gave me Euphoria vibes and Jimin touching his face, reaching out was similar to his scene when he walked out of the train in Spring Day, asking ARMY to join him..this song is literally and symbolically a tribute to BTS journey in their career since debut. An amazing breather and very timely too, reminding us to never forget, be always grateful, be true to ourselves and keep looking towards the future and more importantly, hold on for what is to come! The last scene was a reference to Spring Day. That's the exact same pose and way they ended the MV of Spring Day.

Actually the desert is another reference from their hidden track of one of their Love Yourself albums called "Sea" ;) That's why in the beggining and I think also at the end you can hear waves sounds

I'm not an Army, but I have mad respect for these boys. Jordon and the comments helped me with the meaning behind the song, and even tho I didn't know the song itself had me swaying and smiling in unknown nostalgia. Firstly I just wanted to say that JKs vocals are amazing and the lyricsare so poetic and beautiful. Secondly the MV itself has this calming effect (which also is emotional to me). I also love how they sing about how much they love music and doing eat they like. It's like they are looking back on the past and looking forward to the best that's "yet to come". Also there are references to past MVs including Springday, BST, no more dream aka the bus. I don't know why but this song is bringing tears to my eyes and I can't help but smile through out the whole thing and them wearing all white it's like they are angels singing to us (which in reality they are). I also love the melodic beat of the music as its so relaxing and calming. Also I love the message through the song that is the best moment is yet to come so keep doing what you love. I. My favorite part is when they are running to the bus is referencing the moment they were running in the Forever Young MV. I love it so much due to the fact the Forever Young clings to me because I want to live my life by holding to my youth and seeing them run to the bus JUST like in the Forever Young MV just hit for that reason. Bus -> Symbolizes their method of travel across the different chapters; they arrived in Chapter 1 as young, energetic and naive men, and now leaving it using that same bus but now they're more matured, experienced and older. White dress -> Just like you said, it's a clean slate. They'll fill it up with newer colors in their new chapter. Desert -> Along with that desert meeting the sea, I think it also references to the sands of time, containing their past memories (details from MVs)

Spring Day is actually also based on the story "the ones who walk away from Omelas" where in the city Omelas a young boy is suffering for the happiness of the other citizens and i believe that's what the lyrics here also say "there still lives a young boy"

The way that they're sitting on the bus is the way that they're all sitting on the train towards the end of the Spring Day MV.

The bus is from 'no more dream' where they dreamed of the 'big house, big cars and big dreams' and they were hopping off the bus. This time they're inside the bus signifying that they have fulfilled their dreams.

Sitting in the bus seats same as Spring Day sitting in the train seats when the lyrics say “I’ll be there to see you. I’ll come for you!”
