This isn't an esport. How can it be considered an esport when 10 of the players are controlled by AI? You're gonna constantly see bullshit like this. The only fifa esport should be 11v11 pro clubs, that way any mess up or really good save is done by a human being instead of a computer. Guys go give 11v11 pro clubs a watch, the guys who play that are the real esports players.
He has every right to quit, the game in no way rewards the player with the highest skill. Defending the opponent from kick off is almost impossible, since defensive players are unresponsive in every action, whereas the offensive players are exceptional. Tbh this gets worse every year, and the fact that it is deciding matches at a professional level is reprehensible. We’ve all been kurt, working hard to score a goal only to be met with an immediate equaliser caused by the most broken game mechanic I’ve ever seen, but the difference here is they’re playing for a living. But like I said, this has been in fifa for years and years and years, so I’m not even remotely surprised by this video
You can see the rage quit building in him from the very start of the game, happened to me so much it's interesting to see it happening to someone else, stage by stage.
The funniest is how the commentators try to be professional and comment on this like it was some important, real sport event and the game was fun and incredible... but it's pure SHIT. Fifa is fucking CRAP.

Watching this match just proves EA needs to do more work on the game, it’s embarrassing that the 4 goals Ustin scored were either Kick off glitch goals and a lucky long shot whereas Kurt played better but the game mechanics punished him for it. Not exactly Esports ready with the way the game is ATM. The competitive scene in FUT is dying because of the game not the players lol.
I don’t even like kurt but I can honestly see why he did this. The game just chips away at you and he finally broke. For him it’s a living way of getting money he was clearly better then the guy he was playing by the goals. And he feels like he got done over. This happens every single time you play a game on Fifa 19 now never mind 18
there's an honest way to go about it, but what they were doing was steering completely away from ANY of the RNG factors in all of these bullshit situations....there are so many unjust flaws within this small 20min match and yet they didn't touch on A SINGLE ONE....just a bunch of "yes men" trying to do as EA pleases....i want honesty and clarity and they provided neither of those things....soft
I honestly dont know why they have these competitions, when the AI or computer interveines in the results as much as it does. Fifa 18 literally forces a players run, when you try to run in a different direction.
I only play pro clubs now when the boys are online. That's just as bad thou, fucks you over loads but it's bearable I'll never put money into ultimate team again it's the biggest scam going.
Watching this shit back is crazy, kickoff has never been fixed, writing this in Fifa 23 it's even easier to do (lob through ball, that's it), and those stats....you just know that game you have with these stats you lose the person in the other end has that same stupid smile on their face that the dude winning does, they know they suck ass and the game still benefits them
I was huge fan of fifa since fifa 2000. Three days ago i played fut, and later i played online seasons just for test. This fifa is broken at so many levels. Im considering myself as average fifa player, mostly just for fun, sometimes i play online for recreation. Three days ago i had the worst expirience. 4 games in row i conciede goals at 45 and 90 minutes in game, with fresh subs.. This one guy had 2 shots on target while i had 24 and 18 on target. I couldnt believed. I know how to score because i play fifa for long time, but fuck me, this is the last fifa that i bought. Fuck you EA for ruining this beautiful game, and this beautiful sport. Piece of shit..
The whole game is fucked, but EA dont seem to get it. Fans want FAIR fucking gameplay. This has happened to me hundreds of times. EA was claiming before the release something like "creating exciting moments" well this is is. EA let him come back just to fuck him over again to make the match more interesting, they know people will watch they know players don't want boring gameplay but they cant influence a match to favour one team so blatantly and act like everyone will enjoy it. This isnt a skill based game no more because it doesn't matter if your twating a opponent with 16 shots on target compared to their 2/3 and still lose, fair enough the odd one in 6 games you might be unlucky but not consecutively. Its just completely fucked.

Looking back on this after a long time. What sticks out to me is the commentators constantly putting Kurt down and in a bad light and covering up for how garbage the game is with kick offs etc and general gameplay. Just did not realise first time round how shill the commentators were and running defence on commentary.
I remember in FIFA 2003 the defender were worst, in some matches the defenders would run backwards whilst the opposing team strikers are running forward.. I remember beating my friends 13-1 because of the poor scripting..
Notice how the moment he switches defender his player just stands still and doesn't react allowing the attacker to score. How on earth isn't it scripting? EA is a joke

Im so glad that scripting is a topic finally. I had not played fifa for 5 years. When i came back last year i was shocked how miserable, pathetic this underlying scripting is. @EA: it really really sucks big time, especially for eSports. Its just not necessary. Momentum is brought by the guy with a controller in his hands or not. Dont need your interventions. If somelne sucks he should lose. Period. You EA just messed it up. Sooooo stupid!!

Buy packs, hold X to defend, smack full power high through balls as soon as you get a sniff of the ball, pray for a result, and it works!!.. don’t even need to know how to play the game, just need to be a fool and spend some money, ea will sort you right out 😔
I don't blame Kurt .. he shoot 12 and 11 on target and the other player shoot just 6 and 5 on target and 3 of 4 goals from kick off glitch .. Kurt should win if there's no glitches like kick off.

Kirko I’d actually say that the defending was good because it was manual controlled. The real problem is the OP attacking play with sick amount of assists. It’s waay too easy to pass and shoot. There is no balance at all!!

Look at the average score of the matches. Almost 4-3, 4-4, 5-4, etcetera. EA sport doesn't have any idea about what a football match simulator means. Definitely that's not football.
