I think you can't beat stars into a butterfly. The audience loves it! Oh, and backflips! Noticed a lot of shows making skaters do all sorts of triples etc now, but people fall. It spoils the number! I'd much rather see a really great simpler jump that the skater "sells" to the audience. "Selling it" makes the audience believe it's a harder trick than it is 😉😁 #showgirllife
I really really want to get into shows. My coach who used to be in shows is helping me and I’m hoping that I will apply soon either for the end of the year or next year. ❤️
My favorite thing has always been scratch spins. I used to definitely be a spinner vs a jumper and I love scratch and sit change sit or broken leg spins!
Love seeing you skate. I use to skate 20 years ago. This makes me miss it. My beautiful skates are too tight and painful to wear. Looking into getting new ones to just get on the ice for exercise.
@@jbauth I received my new ice skates today. I went from 7A to a 9W. I would say I did new new skates! Thanks so much for your inspiration. Looking forward to getting some ice time. Last time I really skated seriously I was in my late 20’s early 30’s. Now going back to it I’m in my 50’s.. hoping I love it as much but going to hate feeling like an old lady. 😟 aging sucks
@@jbauth I have been told when i use to do ballet that i have open hips, But i still stretch and i do feel like stretching does help even when i was on the ice.
can you do some tutorials for like the spin for exemple ( im just a skater who skate like twice a year but i really wanna to skate more but all the ice rink is closed in my country) You inspire me to skate ❤
After watching your videos for a year I’m going back and watching your older videos. As a non skater this was interesting. Are the show skills ones you had to learn to turn pro or did you know them from your free skates?
Great video Jordan! I think it'll be really helpful for skaters who want to do a show reel 👏🏻 I didn't have anything like that (way back when haha!) I had to audition in person. I only auditioned for Hot Ice and Disney, and worked 6 years for a few different companies without having to audition again, (thankfully!) I was really fortunate! Bet you can't wait to get back to shows! Does it worry you going back on the ship, especially with the covid situation? Is it going to be a while before cruises restart? 🏴⛸💖
that’s what I thought! thank you linda 😊 even though I went to ships, I still did an in-person audition for DOI for future reference on file and it was so much fun! but I’m not too worried about returning because I know the new protocols and procedures are going to be so strict! And i’m not really sure when we will be back 😕
