Thanks for reacting, enjoy your honest opinions. NCT Wish isn't replacing NCT 127, their actually the Japanese unit and last addition to NCT as a whole. Originally, NCT's concept would have units based from all over the world, however in 2023 it was announced that after (Wish) there would be no further additions to NCT. NCT Wish are a younger team, ages 16 - 22. I enjoyed Songbird and their pre-debut releases the most so far. They're talented, so I'm very excited to see what they release in the future as they increasingly showcase their abilities and growth.

Sorry when I say replacing I probably didn't explain myself well enough as the older groups start to slowly get to an age where they focus more on solo projects for example NCT 127 is getting older they are going to need more younger groups to come in and continue the younger generation of that line of music so my words probably were a little bit unspecific for you guys even though I knew what it meant lol their music is nothing like 127 but as far as having a younger artist come in and start getting their feet wet in the world while a group like 127 is getting older that was what I meant

@@rokmanreacts Understood, thanks for the clarification!! I figured it was meant differently, but felt I should mention just in case. NCT 127 has begun enlistment with Taeyong, but he did a lot of pre-recording (he mentioned 60 songs), so they'll continue to have group releases and yes, 127 has solo projects that have been, or are scheduled for, release by various members.

@@Alexis_419 oh wow I didn't realize you recorded that many songs I'm going to eventually do a video reacting to all of his SoundCloud music which I'm excited about. But yeah it's just a cycle of how labels work when one group starts to get older they need younger groups to come in to fulfill the cycle but maybe I'll have to just be a little bit more specific in the future

All of them are new members. NCT WISH was formed last year through SM's 1st survival show NCT UNIVERSE:LASTSTART. The youngest boys are 07-liners, the older is the leader Sion, 02-liner. They are 4 Japanese and 2 Korean members and their main market is Japan, but they are promoting in Korea too.

Darn I didn't see the survival show they never really make them easy to watch here in the United States I need to find a way to watch that. And that's interesting I didn't know they were leaning towards Japanese as their main thank you for the update!

@@rokmanreacts I think it's on Kocowa. It was a good show. First and foremost, thanks God, it wasn't fan voted. There were juries who actually evaluated the participants very honestly, without any unnecessary drama, they ere fair and positive. Juries were BoA (who became the producer of the group, she has produced "Songbird"), Eunhyuk from SuJu, Key from SHINee and other SM artists. This show gave us the rare opportunity to see how SM chose trainees to debut, what are their goals, things like this. LASTSTART wasn't planned for the general public I think. We, fans, knew that new subunit is coming and my personal opinion is that they gave this show for us, fans, not for gp. That's why they haven't promoted it anywhere outside NCT and SM's channels.

The theme is cupids. They have an absolutely adorable 'cupid school' concept. Very creative and fun. I really love them, this injection of youth into NCT. The sound is NCT but I think they also managed already to have a specific Wish sound. Really looking forward to see them grow. And yes that dance break and bridge is so cool!

I love this from them, seeing more and more of their talent with each release has been fun! I'm also so happy that they seem to be putting a lot of focus on vocals - which i feel like isn't happening too much in current kpop, it's refreshing!

I LOVE hearing opinions of those active in production because I often pick instrumentals apart myself, I’m very into music theory and all that. Hearing commentary on the small nuances is so fun because I often can’t have a convo about it with those who naturally don’t notice it. The slight dissonance in the pre-chorus stood out to me, as did the uniqueness of the dance break and bridge. I really love this in NCT tracks, particularly in 127’s discography, so hearing it in Wish’s is an extra treat. I really like them. Also, thank you for contributing to music I love.

emm thanks for ur ractiong first, and yeah they are young like 2002 oldest 2007 maknae, and they chosen through an a survival program special made for nct's lsatest unit its like an auddition and they chosen by sm's legends like vocal dancer rapper performers thry are actually made for promot to japan so they are our only japanies unit but they also promot on skr too, thats why they are so perfect in every way, as u said they are still young and thry can br thr worldwide BG if sm can treat them in a right way also thank u again please more react for nct boys

Reminds me of BoA's "the greatest" japanese song. I don't know how much of NCT Wish's songs she's producing, but I feel like that weird "happy" "futuristic" "virtual" sound is related to her recent japanese release's style

@@rokmanreacts really? I thought her creative director title didn't have much responsibility. In her reality show, she once mentioned her frustration or disappointment when projects didn't pan out the way she wanted or didn't get released

NCT WISH's releases have been consistently hit-after-hit with me. Maybe part of it is probably due to SM having perfected the "Neo" sound. I loved Hands Up and Wish too, but I'd probably rank them Hands Up > Songbird > Wish (if only Wish had a stronger outro) Also not related to the reaction but..... what's up with that Togepi on your shelf???? lmao
