The price on these bodies is worth it for sure, even the regular proline bodies take a hell of a beating. I have felt these in person at my lch and they feel unbreakable like a turtle shell for your RC lol.

When I go for a body that is built tough I always go for a pro-line . My Original Body that came on my 2wd Pro-MT is still alive so I can't imagine how tough the bash armor material will be. I think the body mounts will break more with this body.

MT size for the normal 1/8 scale and then a F250 for the longer chassis 1/8 MT's, Rivals CEN Colossus, Tekno ET48.3 converted to a MT.....

So if the body is 3x as thick, does that make it 3x heavier too? Or is the material lighter compared to a normal body in comparison?

Hi Lazy Lizard, Using our Monster Fusion body as an example, the poly carbonate version weighs 0.65 lbs. while the Bash Armor version weighs 1.25 lbs. This makes our Bash Armor bodies roughly 2x heavier than our standard bodies. We hope this answers your question. Thanks for your interest and support!

If you’d please make the Evo SC body with the armor material, that’s be great. I race 4WD SCT as well as other classes and the SC bodies just don’t last long. I’d trade a bit of extra weight for a more durable body that still doesn’t parachute much at all. Also, please make bodies with this material for other rc’s I race with like my Tekno ebuggy. Definitely make bodies for 1/8 MT with the armor material too. You can count on my $ going towards all of those bodies if you follow through with my suggestions. Side note... can you make your racing tires cheaper pleasssssse? Lol. See ya at the track Pro-Line!

Hi HardstyleZ RC, That is correct. This material does not allow paint to bond to it without soon flaking off. So even if it was clear, the properties of this body's material would still not be "paintable".

Dang I would have gotten one but the stickers aren't pre cut out on the xmaxx version so I decided to get a Russian Unbreakable body instead. Extra fifteen bucks for stickers buying the Russian one but oh well.

best bet is to wrap it in vinyl, the material doesn't seem to like paint or dye to adhere to it.

The fusion looks great but is flimsy as hell. Even the slightest tumble will cause cracks.

Why can’t you paint these bodies? I don’t own one yet but I’m interested. I just didn’t like seeing that you can’t paint them.

It's possible there still may be a paint out there that will adhere to them. This material simply does not like paint sticking to it. :) right now we suggest a Vinyl wrap as a "Paint Scheme" solution.

With Trimming and Body mount modification, it may be possible, however, it will probably take some fine tuning to make it look right.
