Nikon's have a way of punching way above their weight class. Me and my girl we both bought compact mirrorless full frames. I got the Z5 and she got the A7C. While almost costing twice as much as my Nikon, at least where we live, when we went out for some landscape photography, the Z5 quite surprisingly stood toe to toe and even outclassed the A7C in some aspects. I was overjoyed and she was plain jealous. Plus I feel the Z5 is better built and feels more natural and ergonomic compared to the A7C, not to mention perks like a superior EVF, superior IBIS & weather sealing and 2xUHS-II slots. It was to a point where she asked me If I wanted to swap camera's with her and I said 'FUCK NO!'. We are getting married, so yeah, I had to swap cameras. The Auto Focus on this A7C is great though.

The brand Nikon is some what treated like inferior here. "With the Nikon ?" is heard several times. The famous photo "The Afghan Girl" was shot with a Nikon. Its all about the photographer and glass, not necessarily the brand.

the Nikon dd3300 is my first camera ever. I've since switched to Fuji xt3 but I'll forever remember it. it's really not that bad

Welcome to "just 11 focus points speed limit" :) D3300 is my first camera and in my opinion it is a very good camera for everything (picture of moon proves it) except for portraits :)

great video but don't get why you are sharting on the nikon D330 its a good quality entry level camera so as long as you have an eye (which both you lads clealry have) you can get some sharp images.

Well, Nikon D3300 isn't that bad as you said in the beginning of the video. Its pretty good budget camera for amateurs.

Good challenge, I think. Sometimes it's nice to have certain limitations (time and locations) to squeeze the inspiration out. This proves that a good photographer can work with any location, which is useful, because not always a perfect location can be found, like during weddings or other events.

Hey, I'm a freelance photographer who works on Portraits as well, and I just want to ask what type of lenses do you use for portraits? I'm currently working with my Canon Eos M50 with a Neewer 35mm lens but would love to know if there's specific ones for portraits.

Best for portrait: 35mm 1.4/1.8 85mm 1.4/1.8. Even 50 but almost everybody shoots in 50 so it’s harder to stand out. Portrait photographer like to use prime lenses because it’s “sharper” and helps the photographer move around the subject to grab different angles, if you start with a zoom lense, make sure to practice with prime lenses first to grab that idea of composition. Zoom lenses 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 these ones gives you A LOT of versatility. Once you have sense of composition in and lighting that when I would go for the zoom ones hehe

damn stop shitting on the D3300 so much it's still a good camera. Throw a Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 or a Nikon 50mm 1.4 and you got yourself a pretty good portrait kit. I still shoot on a Fuji X-T10 with a vintage lens and that camera produces insane results

I'm not a professional photographer, just like to take pictures "my way". I bought the same Nikon D3300 with its kit lens 18-55mm in 2018 and went to Paris for practice. I've never used a DSLR before, the D3300 gave me some of the most gorgeous night pix with F3.5 stop. I'd figured if I'm not sure what I'm doing, at least I can get a few pix based on "location, location, location".

Se você usar uma lente de qualidade na sua câmera de entrada, irá mudar completamente a qualidade das suas foto. A qualidade da lente faz toda diferença. E se tiver um flash externo, ficará melhor ainda. Você nem irá querer trocar sua câmera de entrada.

Damn i have a Nikon D5600 and i been wanting to get rid of it asap lol but i guess i can actually use it and take awesome photos. What are some great Lens for Portrait, Landscape and even Cars because i go to alot of car shows and sometime people ask me to take some one on one photo shoots of there cars but i get nervous to, do to my camera and lens.

Get a 50mm f1.8 you won't regret it. Don't stay with the kit lenses.

No, but if you need the model then it's the Nikon D3300. You can find it as cheap as 150$, maybe even cheaper.
