Hi, experienced satisfactory player here. I’ll answer a few of your questions you had in this video. 1: yes, the game DOES have a story but it is unimplemented at this point in time due to the game still being worked on. It is planned for implementation on full release, I believe in version 1.0. 2: yes, any time you deconstruct something in the game, you get a full 100 percent refund on the materials. This is very important as it can be time consuming to have to travel back across the world if you lost some material for a large factory after accidentally misplacing a building. Likewise, it makes planning large factories much easier since you will likely be placing and moving a lot of things. 3. No, aside from trains, which pull directly from your power grid if connected, or the ficsit factory cart which is mostly a novelty and recreational item and not a logistics vehicle, no vehicles have infinite fuel. They do have differing consumption rates, though. You can have truck stations to refuel land based vehicles automatically with the same fuel they currently use, provided you have the infrastructure to provide those stations with said fuel. And many things from coal, to plutonium fuel rods can be used. Drones require exclusively batteries, a late game item though. Fun fact: the developers who made Satisfactory, Coffee Stains Studios, also made the famous and hilarious Goat Simulator from a few years back. You can even unlock the Goat Simulator soundtrack in Satisfactory.

Technically the Story part of the game wont be incorporated until 1.0 release. Right now it tells you little more than "gather resources for a mega corporation that only cares for your safety because you are sending things up the space elevator to them." Upon release there will be more thought out and finished story, but the developers have stressed this is a factory building game FIRST.

6:24 Might not see this anymore, but anyways. The devs have stated they arent planning on adding non polluting stuff like solar/wind, why? Because FICSIT inc(aka the company the character your playing as is part of) doesnt believe in egological stuff, so yeah, doubt they believe in feng shui of it either. Edit: Also Josh is the master of turning fps into mpf(minutes per frame), if its possibly in any way, no matter how crazy, Josh can do and most likely will do it

I play the game and yes there is kind of a story behind it but it isn’t as flushed out like some other survival games or rpgs. The graphics are really great and they keep adding new stuff in. They should be pushing out update 9 soon.

if i remember the video, this is before the build of the game that had creative mode. mods may have existed at this point but im not sure

this is a old version of the game btw. it looks much better and the performence increased alot.

technically the "Story" part of the game isn't in the game yet. The game has been in Early Access for 3 years (this video is like 4 years old, so before you could even buy it). The Story is supposed to be added at Full Release.
