Ivy grew through the neighbor’s roof line and was growing INSIDE the house! It took $2200 to remove it from the backyard. The guy who rented the house neglected it for 20 years. The owner was livid about how much it was for removing it. But he never checked anything either. It just grew and grew into a massive pile in the backyard, several feet deep. Rodents and a family of raccoons lived in there. It was crazy.
I’m sorry because I know this isn’t funny, but when you said a family of raccoons, I just fell out laughing! I think Ivy on a Home is so beautiful but once I started doing the research as to how much it really cost to maintain it, there is no way in the world, unless I have some really really really deep pockets!
