There's a recording behinds the scenes video of Taeyeon recording Siren from this album. From watching that vocal tracking session, I'm guessing that part in Wine was developed by her and the producer during tracking. Sometimes signature arrangement parts are pre-planned, and whoever sings the guide works it out. But for Siren, Taeyeon didn't seem to be working from a guide vocal. I would love to see more about her process, but SM doesn't give up many secrets about its signature vocals.

I love the SNSD/Taeyeon agenda on your channel!! Something that you/the singers may enjoy are her behind the scenes recordings. She has one for Siren from the INVU album (LOTS of harmonies) and there is a Closer (from Forever 1) recording where Taeyeon and the rest of the girls each have a segment. They're really interesting and I enjoy watching Taeyeon in particular because you can tell the directors have fun recording with her because her voice is so versatile. It's also fun to watch the girls do their harmonies. They also showed some of the other recordings on Soshi TamTam, I remember some clips from Villain and Forever 1 specifically. Oh also Circus (from Something New) would be a fun one to see reactions to, Taeyeon did her own vocal directing on that song.
