I like the game but the fanbase is toxic

"I wish I could watch this anime" "but it doesn't exist!!" ... So uhh did they just all forget about arcane? It might not be that guy specifically but..

Also their hire credentials are apparently insane, Skill is important but if they don’t see the passion they want, they either motivate you or they don’t hire you at all When imagine dragons made enemy for arcane, they where first shown bits of the art, story arc, story premise and character designs, and that made them fired up to work on it and put themselves into their craft Watch “bridging the rift” it’s the build up and background to the show

@@ness576 Yeah I hated that. League music really isn't made to have unique beats like other songs are. It's the lyrics that hit hard. And a lot of references. Like Faker almost always being in the worlds videos. Like ignite actually having real games in the video (with highlights you remember from the games), and songs like the cursed mummy ofc that really hits home if you know a little lore.

for the amumu song they didnt like the out of tune piano , but the out of tune piano was intentional because it was based on amumus theme where everything arround him is cursed , the out of tune piano was intentionally put there to add a deaper detail in the music.

Lightbringer is my fav song from Pentakill and the acoustic version is just chef's kiss. But I'm a sucker for acoustic versions I don't know why.

The whole video was a disaster. I felt that if there was someone with them to explain the story and characters they would have appreciated more some of the songs and not totally miss the point. Even the music references they made were mostly weak and unfounded.

IG only did one WORLDS song, it's not cool they gave this year's WORLDS song to a generic pop producer that makes music that fades into obscurity, and then treat it like it's the first and best thing they ever did. Lil Nas was the wrong choice for WORLDS this year, should have been the performance song.

well phoenix is one of those songs that ppl always think it's meh the first time and then it gets more and more epic the more you listen to it, especially when you learn of the backstories of the featured players and how well they fit with the lyrics

thats how i feel about the curse of the sad mummy, if you dont know about amumu beforehand and are just focused on the music i feel like it can be kind of underwhelming and not very impactful.

It’s a good song but it doesn’t fit the vibes of Worlds. It’s like wearing a designer outfit to a costume party.

I'm not saying that the song is bad or good. It's just that there is this specific "aesthetic" that people expect. Because I mean, most of the worlds songs are also generic haha That's my point exactly, it's what the players want.

Plus things like the Valor at songs. There all pretty good too

Yeah, at one point they even started to complain about all the Worlds songs sounding "samey" and I was just waiting for Worlds Collide to show up being completely different. And then it just didn't show up. Also Awaken is definitely top tier stuff.

As we fall always gets me emotional and the call makes me feel i had just learned my fate and I have to embark on journey to face it.

Fun fact: Christian Linke, the co creator of Arcane, composed and sung Amummu's song and was a former member of the German rock band Panik, which probably added some gravitas when pitching Arcane to his bosses at Riot. There's a funny tweet about him recording the 'scream' in that song on a Sunday when nobody was in the office so nobody freaked out thinking he was being tortured.

Fr, "The piano is out of tune", that's literally the point, it's a music about a sad broken child that wander around, incapable of making friends because he is cursed and destroy everything around him 😂

They definitely needed to get at *least* Lightbringer in there.

@@drowsy_predator agreed: A) The song is way too long (clocking in at 8 minutes I think), making it really unfit for just a short look into it B) The song really shines in contrast to the rest of the album as a piece of orchestral metal. On its own it's actually not that great (unless you're familiar with the League lore) C) The song REALLY shines when you try and map it onto the story of the Ruination, with the climax of the song coming in right before it ends. The climax itself doesn't hit even remotely as hard without the buildup though, because the song itself tells a story. D) Fun easter egg for anyone who isn't familiar with Riot too much and maybe reading this: Some of these songs feature the "theme" songs of certain characters from the game as Leitmotifs or something similar. The Blade of the Ruined King song is actually featured in the theme song of the Ruined King character as they both straight up just use the exact same climax to tell the exact same story. Goosebumps all over when it hits (for me, obviously your mileage may vary).

I don’t really like it but that’s probably mostly because I had to listen to the instrumental version 100 times in game before I went to RU-vid and checked the full version out and hearing something with lyrics you didn’t know it had for the first time is pretty weird

Yes! It's hands down my favorite League song. They'd probably like how it has a different sound and works great as its own standalone thing outside of the video game/music video context.

honestly, i'm a zedd fan, so when i saw zedd and league together, i was excited. but it was kind of a letdown. i can enjoy it, but i will say it's not one of the strongest songs (though it does hit about midway, the first half was a bit less strong)
