For the past 10+ years I’ve been retrieving eggs for people. A process that if you’re a new patient, can be daunting. You may be wondering, what exactly is involved?

Dear Dr. Aimee, thank you! I have my egg retrieval tomorrow so it was so great to be able to watch this :) Love all your videos I've been totally into them since going through this IVF process, very helpful indeed. Not to mention you crack me up! I was thinking (why wouldn't she wear underwear?) - I was a little slow on the joke. LOl. Anyway, I like how you address anxiety as I def had some early on but after talking with my Dr. I felt much better. And not so much appettie these last days before ER either. I've felt pretty good during my stims but these last few days pretty tired and boobs hurt. You mentioned that your boobs might hurt "after" egg retrieval. Is it a bad sign if they hurt before ER? I only ask because they're usually sore after I ovulate. So I'm hoping that I didn't Ovulate and have some come out already- sketch.

Dr Amiee. I had a follicules 9 of them before my trigger shot and on my egg retrieva day they told me i only have 3 eggs is there a reason for that?

Hi l love your youtube channel and my questions is im going through my second IVF treatment but this time is a frozen embryo transfer I have my first first egg on July the 12th then had my period 6 days later my second period I'm still waiting for it even though my cycle is is always on time like every 29 to 30 days supposed to have my period 5 days ago but I've only had cramps but no period is this normal and what should I expect and should I be worried

Dreams happen . . It could be pregnancy, an ovarian cyst, or late ovulation. So I would get seen for a cyst check and hormone check to know which one so you can make a plan

I will have my egg retrieval by next week but here in Japan the doctor said I will be awake during the egg retrieval . Is it normal ? And he is predicting he will probably retrieve 10-15 eggs .. is it normal that I’m awake , he have mentioned I’ll be in local anesthesia

How about the weight gain? If I am just freezing my eggs for now, what happens? I mean I’m not even 18 yet and I heard that there is bloating afterwards and I have really bad experience with bloating. What should I except?

I did IVF and we are going through a crazy experience our IVF Doc said on our first sonogram “ Oh sorry whatever I put in there must have fizzled out” ok great well this was August 17,2022 well my OB has found a gestational sac and she refuses to ruled it out as a blighted ovum since is measuring smaller than the IVF dates is actually a week behind. I have my tubes tied so nope I didn’t conceive on my own I also didn’t have sex. Well I started spotting yesterday.

7 th IVF, always end up with same result and bad egg quality. 7-8 mature eggs and 2 fertilize endup being barely Ok quality. on supplements like Ubiquinol, Acai, R lipoid acid, folic acid. Vitamine E, C and D.. what would u recommend at this point?

Add NAD. And consider HGH priming. See if that will help. Talk to your doc about HGH and see if they have added it already.

If you also want to try a more natural method, try acupuncture! I am getting ready to do an egg retrieval and I have a great acupuncturist who has helped many ivf patients. She told me it takes about 120 days to improve your egg quality. Go talk to one! I know a lot of MD’s don’t believe in the power of acupuncture, but I’ve heard many stories of it helping. The needles improve the blood flow to your eggs and uterus and the acupuncturist can give you many more tips!

@@vic7917 Your eggs don't disappear over night. They go away over time. It takes decades for them to disappear. Two months won't make a big difference. It definitely feels that way though!! I know what you mean.

Just lost my baby due to preterm delivery. no one in the clinic or my OB told me what could happen even they did internal check up 5days ago before my preterm. I had virginal bleeding since weeks 13. Even the baby was doing ok. I was working from home but with a lot of stress due to work/people I deal with. and winter months in Canada, also pandemic no social gatherings. I am 42 now and lost the baby boy. I just feel running out of time. I was so depressed due to the conic bleeding and work, I was sure what I did wrong at that time. Now I think I just so stress at that time. I had 3 IUI last year to achieved my penacncy. Now I have to prepare myself to start again and learn was went wrong and anything I can do better if I am luck enough to have a rainbow now...

@@vic7917 I am so sorry for your loss. Take coq10 and be as aggressive as you can possibly be and see if you can go right to ivf if possible

Unfortunately for me, I have to do over the egg retrieval process. All my 6 eggs had time ovulated! They said it was the timing of my shot, they may have to do it shorter than 36 hours next time. :(
