when i use the echo effect on my controller for an echo out transition it doesnt work like rekordbox or serato whenever the deck fader is down the echo also dissapears can you help

Hi bro I need some help when am scratching should I first play the song or I have to time when the scratch is done because it's very difcult to time it and when I see yours the song just plays after the scratch is there any trick I don't know 🙏

Hi @tommalix3798 👋😊 That's a good question. So, actually what I do is hold down the scratch key until the song starts playing. Oh, and this is when the song is not playing. Try it out and best of luck in your DJing journey 😊👍

It's possible @jllisterio1612. First you must make sure that your controller is supported by VDJ and also make sure you have a VDJ pro license. Next you will want to follow these steps to connect your controller: 1. Download and install the drivers for your controller model 2. Connect the controller to your computer using a USB cable 3. Connect the controller to a power source if it doesn't power on via USB 4. Open VirtualDJ 5. Go to Options > Controllers 6. Select your controller's make and model from the list of compatible controllers. Even though VirtualDJ should automatically detect the connected controller. 7. Select Edit Mapping from the device window 8. Ensure the Default (factory) mapping is selected in the Mapping list 9. Select a Key from the list or use the Key learn feature 10. Press a button or move a slider on the controller 11. Type an appropriate action in the Action box, e.g: play_pause 12. Repeat the last 2 steps for all the Keys that you wish to map for your controller. Hope this helps, but fell free to ask any more questions you might have. 😊

Hi @khokobean 👋😊 Thanks for your question. If you have a controller that is recognized by virtual dj you don't have to use the keyboard, instead you can just map the action to one of the pads on your controller.

Hi @hugo 👋. Sorry for the delayed response. If the downloaded effects have an icon that looks like a red gift box with the name virtual dj, then all you have to do is double click on the effect and it will automatically install. You will find the effect in the respective drop downs. Let me know if this works first before trying another method. Cheers 😊
