Pro Tools 101 | How to Clean the Clips List 

Wavy, I really rely on your videos to learn about Protools. Your generosity is incredible. I am in my early 70s, and over the course of my life, I played in Bar Bands, out on the street, at parties, weddings, funerals, and you name it. But since I started playing guitar and the bass in 1970, my dream was to write and "record" my own music. I was blessed with a decent voice, a good sense of rhythm, a natural ability to come up with melodies, and a love for poetry (which later became writing lyrics). Bet. My clips list is like a mile long. I'm green as hell to ProTools and this saved me the time of going into the session and searching each individual clip being like "Is this one being used? No? Aight delete. Next one." Again, I'm so glad I found this video, such a helpful guide.

Hi Wayne, Every time I choose 'remove' it goes thru every single clip asking me to confirm removing it, so it takes me ages to clear. Is there a way to set it to NOT ask for confirmation? thanks for all you do!

I made the mistake before and had a couple sessions that was built off another. I deleted the unused clips from one and it deleted like 3-4 songs 😤
