Why is there so much hate towards Ari? He seems like a cool guy. I like his attitude. At least he's able to make jokes and chat with his opponent and not be completely quiet the whole round. Sure, he gets upset when he is losing, but who doesn't when you're this far into a tournament? I'm sure he's happy he's kicking ass. All you other people should stop patronizing him for how he is.
I'm actually baffled by all the hate people have at Ari when they've never even met him. I actually managed a game store that Ari used to play at regularly for years in Michigan, and he was actually one of the nicest dudes. He would constantly help new players with decks or advice during tournaments or at FNM, and I've watched him willingly take a loss after pointing out how his opponent misplayed and could have beaten him multiple times. He helped grow the community of local Magic players by actively making the environment competitive but extremely friendly to any new players. Grow up people, he's probably a better person than most of you taking pot shots at him.
While I don't agree I can understand the hate towards Ari, I mean he's pretty awkward some people just don't understand if they're being offensive or obnoxious it happens sometimes lol
Ari Lax behaved during this game like a real asshole, being super chatty and making jokes after Ondrei Strasky made a mistake that cost him the game. I would like to see Ari Lax in such good humor had he lost the game.
