Thank you for posting this video, I just had a party saturday and it was hard and slower, the paper plate and spraying different colors on the sponge will make it easier.
You have choices: 1) don't clean them. They have lots of pigment on them, just re-activate. 2) swish in 91% alcohol 3) rub liquid soap into bristles and rinse after.

For ProAiir Hybrid you lather in soap first then rinse with water. Don't put water over it first because it will lock in the pigments since the makeup is water resistant.
