The cast of Problem Child (1990) and Problem Child 2 (1991) all reunited for the first time ever to both celebrate the film and pay tribute to late co-star John Ritter.
Problem Child II is one of my all time favorite movies. I love the matter of fact that way Michael delivers his lines like when he is talking to the magic rock or when he tell is dad "that the neighbors loved it" after the baby sitting scene or "how could I forget. Her pie gave us the runs" admonition.
How very cool, to see them all come together. When John Ritter died, that was such a sad time, the world truly lost a treasure that day. Whenever I hear a celebrity talk about him, they always say how much of a good and down to earth guy he was. I miss watching his acting.
When I was a young man I used to watch re-runs of threes company and think jack is the man sharing an apartment with a 2 gorgeous women, I'm gonna be just like that when I grow up. But then came problem child and I thought Ben Healy is the best dad anyone could ask for and I thought man John Ritter is the true definition of what an actor should be. The world lost an icon in the industry that day, R.I.P John Ritter. I get emo thinking about him being gone I cant imagine what his family must have felt.
And John Ritter, too. Both dudes were gone too soon. Wish they were still here with us. Sucks we can’t live forever on earth. Life on earth is not guaranteed.
1:17 for whatever reason the look on Amy's face reminds me of the look on Catherine O'Hara's face right before she yelled "Kevin," at the airport in Home Alone 2.
30 years later: - Amy Yasbeck is a vampiress, didnt age at all and she is still hot - Michael Oliver still has the devilish grin and bad boy looks - Ivyann Schwan grow up to be a younger version of Tiffany Ray... and looks hot too btw The best of all: the 3 are still good looking to revive the frachise
Bob Cook I know it didn't But still I want that trilogy solved because that would be a really good throwback movie and the fact that we are getting bill and ted why can't we get problem child.
@Bob Cook, why it don't count? You still had same person play Junior just no John Ritter & big deal it did not come out in theaters & only on Home Video. It still counts.
Bob Cook I understand that and I know that I just put that it was a problem child 3/problem child 4 because the fact that even if it was a different child is kind of like home alone and I still just put it like that but it would definitely be good to see a problem Child three with the original cast members along with Trixie coming back to town to see Junior Who has to deal with his own life problems well the fact that he has to take medication to keep himself from going over the edge like he did so many years ago while taking care of his new child that popped into the world that is causing problems like he used to do.
John Ritter has always been one of my favorite actors along with Paul Hogan and I suffer from the same illness as him. I had a type B ruptured aorta 2 years ago and fortunately I survived it but unfortunately more and more people will suffer from it. Thanks to Amy for this Foundation. John is even more of an icon and inspiration for me
A problem teen would just be considered a teenager committing crimes. That part where he displayed his babysitter having sex for the whole neighborhood to watch is a criminal act. He did other stuff he got away with as a child because they would see it as just pranks but teenagers wouldn’t get away with that kind of stuff as much.
Love them movies. Its funny, I seen problem child 2 before problem child one. I was 8 years old when 2 came out. Yeah I had a mind like junior character coming up
“We want to get our eyes on each other because we spent a chunk of time together” this is solidly put. I think people with great long term memories are sensitive and intuitive and remember smells and sounds and feelings but can’t always put them into words. Can only imagine the experience garnering these exact feelings. Just well put. 💚💪💪🧠💜⭐️😍💅 I.e. reuniting with someone you don’t recognize and than it is them and everything everywhere, all at once (can’t wait to see it 💚🤩).
I always thought many of the actors would be intimdiating to meet in person but my goodness they're all such wonderful people. I've always had a crush on Ivyann. Never knew she was very sweet.
Nice video. I still consider problem child 3 a spin off or a separate timeline like the Halloween movies. I don't consider it to be the movie to take place after problem child 2.
I have such vivid memories of the girl in the skates and her flipping Jr and the dog being hypnotize kind of reminds me of the first time seeing iT and the first time watching leprechaun the original one with Jennifer Aniston ☺️ my childhood was so Golding
Technically, Junior wasn't evil. He was a kid who had been treated horribly his whole life until he met Ben. While Ben loved him unconditionally, he still caused havoc on those who crossed him. It was just funny as hell in the second movie when he met his match in Trixie
