Problem solving a paslode nail gun that won't fire.

This paslode came in for repair as it wouldn't shoot any nails.
It's actualy the older im350/90 model, but was hardly ever used and we'll looked after.
This is simply how I problem solve the gun. The motor and spark unit are working so the problem is not an expensive one.
When you get a gun that is acting up like this, it's normaly always not getting enough gas.

Thank you so much for this video. In the first minute you saved me a trip back to the workshop. I have had my passcode sitting for months because it wouldn't fire and it was all down to that little plastic cap not fitted correctly.

Same issue with my Makita gn900se you have to plunge it 2 times before it will fire, will be trying this for sure!

Can not thank you enough for your video!! I bought a im350+ lithium of eBay as a ‘serviced’ pre-owned but it runs and does not fire correctly at all!!! I will now check myself exactly what you have done to the one in the video and HOPEFULLY 🤞 it will be okay or it’s going back.

As long as the motor starts and you have a spark, it should be a cheap fix

Mine shot 2 nails at once and bent them and then shot one and bent it again and the nail gun smells like it’s burning anyone know why?

the gun uses gas so there will be a smell. when it needs a service it will smell more. The 2 nails, is probably the ware strip above the pin. when it wares away, the nails can move up higher and cause the pin the hit the nail below also.
