If you send them back to Ricta, they should give you new wheels, but as others have said, 78 is way too soft for street skating bro. You need like 92s or higher
Thats what i was thinking, i personally wouldnt go below 88a for street or park skating, but i love the feel of 78a wheels when i do downhill slides and shit
its the material and how it is made not the hardness lol i had a pair of 96a wheels (the brand i cant remember) and i ollied a 3 stair and one of the wheels shattered ha
I think Jake's wheel accident may maybe more have been a instance of some mistake from factory or something it could be or maybe as other said even harder wheel may help but I think indeed issue may have been softer wheel that is the problem I have currectly some soft wheels I tried out shorter time they seem to get peaches small chunks cut of wheel I think easier than other more hard wheels.
Got g slide formula 85 a..we will see....the thing is that I ride allways on soft except for bowlriding where I do not do tricks just carving....And I really got used to soft wheels on street skating, I got my basics like on soft so Iam changing step by step to spme harder just for durability coz soft feeling for me is the best
They say the same things about certain Bones wheels, can't remember if they're Filmers or cruising wheels. I think the clear Bones cruiser wheels would be ok. They also say the same things about the Hot Juice and the other soft OJ wheels. I haven't had any trouble with the clear 83a 60mm Alva cruiser wheels or longboard wheels and since I just cruise it works for me on my regular deck.
same shit happened to me with rought riders bones...amazon send me back money...but even crumbeling in chanckes i have been using for mounts....ive order de ricta clouds....Ihope that will not happen again
just had my rough riders break after 4-5 months of only cruising, one wheel has like 2-3cm piece chipped out which made me faceplant lol ordered the ricta clouds aswell 🙏
Shit happened to me on hot juice.... I just got some 56mm 78a s....clouds... On turning they bite. Even though they are smaller....are they too soft where they crimp up on them selves, or maybe even the shape distorts during fast turning....not a good thing....idk???
I got bones rough riders skated for 4 months doing flip tricks and slappys and they still good. I bought the ojs mini super juice and they chunked the first day i got them on a front pop shuv . i contacted nhs for warranty and they offering me new replacement wheels. I have the choice of mini super juice or ricta clouds . since i just had mine chunked im scared to get ojs again but now i see this video and i dont know wat to do since theses chunk too. Mayb ill just get ojs again and just cruise and dont do any tricks at all
Ojs are good wheels "I have the regular super juice on my shaped cruiser", those rough riders are nice though and durable I've been on them pretty consistently for about five years 😎
Yeah man!....one of mineones almost got the same....they are not really for tricks....yeah they are very very nice smooth grip but they do not last if you are a bit hardcore, but at least are better that rought riders from powell. They were destroyed after a week skating
Sunny Groves ahaha nah.. I have no problem flipping my board with them and they haven’t chipped at all in the 6months I’ve been skating them. They last long cos you can’t really slide much with them
