This boat is full of Spektrum parts and tech, Spektrum sells 100c 3S batteries, why are Spektrum batteries "not recommended" for this boat?

Nice boat good upgrades question…I bought a used v1 the motor is screaming but it really struggles to get up on plane ..it takes a long time to get up to speed,any help would be much appreciated,batteries are new 100+c,tried messing with trim tabs and battery placement all to no affect I’ve noticed the prop has a very small bend in the end could this be why?

Nice review, I see they recommend 100 C batteries is that just for speed or will my 50 C get too hot in there? I’d rather not buy new batteries and just run my twin ec5 6000 mah 3s.

Is the hull still abs plastic? And what's the difference in hull design.

the manual lists it as polycarbonate. Hull design is the same, appearance wise, with a slightly bigger orifice for the self-righting feature over v1, more extensive battery tray with more forward of a mounting option over v1. Besides those small things, the hull, itself, is nearly the same as v1.

It also comes in a 2 tone blue and white which is the one I have. It's the same one that's on the box in the background

I clicked to see a video about an interesting RC boat I thought I wanted to purchase. However, because of the onslaught of worthless idiotic SPAM ads at the beginning, I wasn't able to watch the video. I am NOT here to see stupid ads. I was here considering the purchase of a boat. So I guess I'll go buy a different boat.
