Ideas for virtual walk 3: - Day/night cycle (sunsets/sunrises, moon, starry night, galaxy) - Procedural/dynamic clouds - Dynamic weather (rain, snow, thunderstorm, sunny) - More objects (Boulders, bushes, distant animals that run away, ants simulation on tree bark) - Bird boids above in the sky (rare event)
Would be neat to have the time of day change! Seeing the horizon, the sun setting and rising, seeing the moon and stars and beautiful clouds~ Would also be neat to see weather changes, god rays, rain storms, misty weather, snow, thunder and lightning... There are also no rocks in there :p

Hi, I genuinely love your work within the topic of physics engines, I would love to start with this topic myself, but its both hard and frustrating to figure out what is needed to do such operations. Is there any articals, videoes etc. you would recommend for a complete beginner within the topic of physics engines? The math and c++ in its entirety is not the problem, but the visualization and how the math and c++ goes together to form such acts within the program is what I cant figure out. Honestly it was a long journey for me, I had a math background and I slowly got some intuitions about physics after many projects starting with just particles and forces (like a planetary system for example) using Euler integration then move on to simple circle circle collisions and then go to more complex systems like ropes and Verlet integration. This is what I've done and finally I recently started to study 2d rigid bodies physics. I remember this article helped me gamedevelopment.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-2d-physics-engine-the-basics-and-impulse-resolution--gamedev-6331. Visualizing things helps a lot and I personally love SFML for that :)

I really love it, but it's a bit too noticeable that the grass is placed in lines and there is a rather bug gap between each line, kinda breaks the immersion for me
And what if to make a non-server online game ? when each player is both a server and a client. No centralized no servers just players. One big system. the productive capacity is divided for each player and each player processes his part of the game world (depending on the capacity), thus the more people the less each player will process the data. all computers of players work as one powerful high-performance computer
Hey try to make a particle (just pixel or something you want) what be have magnetic field. Or gravity. Just each particle will be attracted to the others. but when the particle is very close it will be repelled. thereby, as if holding on to the "orbit" (by the way, so that it does not fly away, you can make one particle in the center static or with greater gravity and just as static) I think you will like it :3
