2018年の時、私は代行業者を通じて日本からこのような日本の鎧を購入し、台湾に持ち帰ってコレクションとして保管しました。このビデオを見て初めて知りましたが、現代においても、このような鎧を作ることは依然として信じられないほどの困難さがあることを。古代日本の鎧は本当に世界で最も美しい鎧です。それはまさに芸術品です。このビデオを見た後、私は自分のバイクヘルメットを日本の鎧のようなデザインに製作し、それをかぶって台湾島を一周するバイク旅行に出かける予定です。

実戦で使われていた、名だたる武将の注文で凝った意匠の甲冑が作られた400年以上前の技術が現代まで伝えられていることが素晴らしいと思います。工具もピカピカで､とても大事になさっているのでしょうけど､モノ作りのために必要な技術が後世まで伝わることを願っています。

But such armor was a complete luxury, and could only protect against worthless steel and worthless katanas, and even then - extremely poorly. This technology was used for the armor of military leaders who never entered into battle, but led the battle from afar. Real fighters used rawhide armor with wood inserts, which was affordable for ordinary people (as opposed to incredibly expensive metal).

Ну так такие доспехи делали для командующих или особо богатых вельмож, и в бою оно не участвовало. Простые самураи носили кожаные доспехи, которые, к слову, ещё и защищали на порядок лучше, рядовые же обычно либо вовсе защиты не имели, либо сильно дешёвый вариант той же кожи.

I was lucky enough to purchase one of these. Mostly due to the absolutely amazing craftsmanship on display. It really looks like you could wear it, nothing was skipped or short cutting. Now l see why it attracted me. Just need a bow, Katana, and Wakazashi made just as well, and to scale. Next trip to Japan.

Such beauty created through a group of craftsmen and women. Very impressive to see all the hand made tools and metal shaping devices, I've visited cultural centers to see full sized armor , such pieces would be excellent art to have on display, It is so nice to see the craft being passed to younger generations also, Thank you for your time and efforts bringing these VLOGS to format for all to enjoy!!!.

But you are making a “survivor’s mistake” - the armor that has survived to this day is that which was not used in battle, that is, either decorations in the houses of noble people, or the armor of military leaders who sat deep in the rear, controlling battles from afar.

Process of making a small decoration of a set of armor. This is not real Samurai armor. It is a souvenir for tourists. Look nice sitting on a shelf.
