Bravissimi Procol Harum ,concerto meraviglioso. Ho tutti i vostri dischi, interpretazione stupenda, introduzione con l’organo di Mathiew Fisher il creatore di questo capolavoro strumentale ,la batteria superba specialmente all’inizio e alla fine, il piano di Gary Brooker con l’introduzione di un preludio di Bach, l’assolo di chitarra, la ritmica del basso e l’organo di M Fisher. Quando penso che ho scoperto questo pezzo orchestrale che usci come faccia b del 45 giri in Italia ( che io possiedo)mi dico che merita la faccia A con tutto rispetto per 》 Il tuo diamante 》. Eterni PROCOL HARUM . Gary riposa in pace.

Grazie per aver postato questo splendido concerto. Io ero presente con i miei due figli e ricordo bene la band in ottima forma. Per una corretta informazione a coloro che vedranno questo video subito dopo " Homburg " seguiva " So far behind" qui non presente.Mancano anche varie introduzioni alle canzoni da parte di Gary Brooker. Resta comunque un documento essenziale della tournee italiana di fine 2002 con un regista che credo come me sia amante dell'organo Hammond per le tante riprese di Matthew Fisher. Grazie ancora e sempre...PROCOL HARUM.

Grazie Alfredo, sono contento che questo montaggio piaccia. l'ho fatto una 15.na di anni fa e non ricordo bene il concerto anche perché le riprese - fatte a mano libera - sono un po' impegnative. Ogni tanto devi cambiare posizione, perdi qualcosa e sei poi costretto a tagliare il girato non presentabile. Sì anch'io ho sposato l'hammond da ragazzo e l'ho ripreso in mano da pochi anni con grande soddisfazione. Guardati il concerto di Brian Auger & Family ... Stammi bene

Se mi sono permesso di fare qualche osservazione e' perche' mi hai fatto un grande favore e chiunque vedra' questo tuo video potra' avere una informazione completa.Pensa che ero con i miei due figli che ascoltavano ben altra musica ma i Procol Harum li avevano sentiti tante volte. Anch'io sono un tastierista e fu proprio l' Hammond a farmi diventare tale. Dopo aver avuto per molto tempo un L122 nel 2016 come regalo per il pensionamento ho acquistato presso l' Organ Studio un M3 fine anni '50 e un Leslie 147 perfettamente revisionati e funzionanti. Da quanto ho capito anche tu ami particolarmente questo strumento e quindi nel ringraziarti nuovamente ti auguro ancora...buona musica !! Ciao ! A proposito di Brian Auger l'ho visto alcuni anni fa al Pistoia Blues e nella stessa serata il James Taylor Quartet...altra roba, ciao.

I love Matthew’s playing on Homburg. He gives the song a more complete, diverse sound than the original. Of course I love the original too!

Although Matthew didn't really like the idea of a rock group playing with a classical orchestra he did a great job like the professional that he is, just as he did on the Symphonic album when he played the church organ.
