as a devoted prod viewer, watching his gameplay has really reflected on mine as well! i've climbed from gold 3 to bronze 2 watching him, and i hope to keep going thanks to Wrod!
Hear me out. PROD is pretty smart. He intended to throw to be in the lowest rank, there is a couple reasons why, his type of game play does not work as well anymore, radiants players are pretty smart and have great adaptability, prod wanted to throw to drawn viewers in because he was every radiant's nightmare. as soon as he started throwing, every radiant will talk about him and will give him the attention and views, it may be degrading for a bit for him but once he peaks at his lowest where his viewers are slightly declining, he will then start trying and climbing back to radiant becoming once again a handcrafted nightmare against radiants. It's all about content and marketing. It is incredibly hard to be in the lowest elo when you were radiant. The type of game sense, gun skill, adaptability, and other factors, that stuff does not leave your brain, it is basically muscle memory for a radiant player.
I think prod just is bored and isn't trying as hard at the game rather or not he is aware of this or not this would explain how he could drop out of being radiant and why he does so many dumbass plays. It happens to me when I play sometimes, I get bored, lose interest and as a result I try stupid plays.
As a loyal Prod viewer, This legend has made me climb from hardstuck immortal 2 to plat 2 in one game! the 9 rank up was so satisfying just skipping ascendant and diamond felt so good, appreciate it Prod ;D
I think plat and diamond lobbys are hard ASF cuz there is so much thing that players do that it makes no sense, he isn't bad but I would say he will be back at the top cuz the system added a new rank which will balance more the games
