(Season 1, Episode 17) -- Eleven kids go to the starting line this week -- eight in the Varsity age group and three from the Junior Varsity. We winnow the field down to two finalists in each age division and decide the winner. This week our kids are bowling on the PBA oil pattern known as Wolf, the shortest of all the PBA patterns at 32 feet.
Also included in this week's show is a major announcement that is made in the commercials. Just wait 'til you see what we have in store for you. :-)
And finally, a programming note: After this show, we're taking a one-week break, as I won't be at the bowl next Saturday, March 11th. Our next filming will take place on March 18th, and our next show will be posted a couple of days after that.
Coach Randy Brown on play-by-play.
PS: Before anyone asks, the reason why we join games in progress is to save time. This show is already the second longest we've ever done. If we'd included all the frames in all the games, the show would have been two hours long and I might not have had enough battery power on the camera to have filmed the end of the championship match. (And how anti-climactic would THAT have been? LOL!)
Thanks for watching. Please remember to SUBSCRIBE and LIKE our videos if you feel so inclined. I really appreciate you watching. And as always, comments are welcome, but please stay positive. These are KIDS, and our purpose here is to "Celebrate Junior Bowling while we Elevate Junior Bowlers." Hurling personal insults and making remarks that are hurtful is not in keeping with that spirit. Nor is it helpful or in any way useful in growing the sport of bowling. Be critical, absolutely, if you have constructive criticism. Even constructive criticism that is wrong-headed at least comes from a place of trying to be helpful. That sort of thing is always welcome. But leave the negativity and hurtfulness at the door. Thanks.
