They actually debuted with No More Dream and this song at the Melon Showcase. Part of their album 2 COOL 4 SKOOL. The boys, J hope, Jimin, and JK (3J’s) practiced their solo dance sections so hard that J Hope injured his right thigh from all the times he had to drop to his knees and fall backwards when Jimin jumps over him. And JK practiced that hat dance for hours. This was all or nothing for them. actually the reason jungkook doesnt rap anymore is cause bts believe that if youre a rapper you HAVE to write your raps. any time jungkook rapped in old songs HE wrote his lines himself. he doesnt rap anymore because he chooses to not write raps. simple as that. its not cause of not getting a break or doing too much already its simply he doesnt feel like it. we have confirmation in NEW OFFICIAL content that bts were given breaks/ bang pd offered breaks and they declined. even 6 month break at one point and they said no so this narrative of bts are overworked or doing too much or being forced or this or that can go down the drain now. it may be true for other groups in other labels but bts was never forced or overworked. they maybe over worked themselves which is different cause its them choosing to continue. i know and understand you meant it as a joke but some people genuinely think "jk doesnt rap anymore cause hes doing too much already" and thats not the case at all. we see clearly from songs like still with you, my you, my time and countless bts songs both in korean and japanese that hes written or participated in writing hes 100% capable so when he doesnt its simply cause he chose not to even for this english album he just released he couldve wrote every single song in korean or changed the english lyrics around to add korean in some places or wrote completely new songs but he wanted to challenge himself to fully english and different pop styles so he did. every member got the choice of writing or asking for songs they wanted etc and until he says otherwise we have to assume its the same logic for rapping. suga said in his recent episode of his show another official content "i thought everyone who is a rapper writes their raps" he was genuinely confused that some "rappers" dont write their own raps. so jk probably knows this and if he doesnt feel like writing hes not gonna rap someone elses lyrics. same as the rap line. all that being said you should 100% react to their new documentary on disney + if you dont have disney or dont wanna support disney im sure armys have links to it pirated somewhere. youll learn so much about them from their own mouths as well as bang pd and the author guy who helped translate their book into english majority of it being their own words. obv cant be on youtube so only patreon content. theres 8 episodes (tip dont skip the intros it includes new info each time)

That's why they had similar styles. They're from the same era. There is a Bulletproof part one, but it's difficult to find. It was a pre-debut song.

Jimin and Jhope got together, and in the privacy of their very tiny dorm, they found a way to not only secretly teach the others to dance, but also to make them want to learn to dance. That's why you will see them goofy dancing. That's how Jimin and Jhope put the drive to want to learn to dance in the others, they just wiggled their bodies, and since it looked fun, the others quickly joined in. Then, before the others realized it, Jimin and Hobi were fine-tuning the movements of the others until they were dancing. At the same time, also in the privacy of their dorm, RM and Suga were teaching the other five to rap and love hip-hop. The boys all came up with that in secret, that's why they had so much trouble with dancing in the beginning, but even back then they totally killed it. Like you, RM had said, "I'm a rapper, not a dancer," but he definitely became a dancer 😊. I've heard snippets of that from the boys, every now and then in comments, lives, interviews, etc, but they definitely mention it in the book they wrote "Beyond the Story." Then, not too long later, JK was sent to LA for a month to learn how to dance, and that's how he became lead dancer. Jimin and Jhope are both main dancers. The reason they say "we are bulletproof " in the beginning and throughout this song is because: 1) their company was verging on bankruptcy, so they didn't have the money to promote the boys, so people didn't know who they were 2) they wrote this song to come back at their haters, which includes their own music industry. So they were telling their haters basically come at us, you can't crush us cuz we are bulletproof. That's actually why that's part of their name. That's also why this song is the very first one they performed at both of their debut stages. They wanted to show everyone who they are and they aren't going to lay down and let everyone crush them, so they hit fast and hard with "We are bulletproof pt 2" first. They didn't want anyone to misunderstand them 😂😂💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 3) it's also their pride in surviving when everyone kept going to insane lengths to keep them from debuting and later, to try to crush them.
