Jin is actually one of the more introverted and introspective members, so to me, songs like this are actually exactly what suits his personality in my opinion. He just likes when people are happy and comfortable, so he learned to be more outgoing and silly, joking around, but the more of BTS' content you see more of his actual personality shine through. I love him for his jokes and his willingness to step forward and be a little silly to break the ice and make people relax, but I also love when we see him more quiet side on occasion.
Jin's voice is full of emotions. He acts through his songs that is why he can pull out ballad so well. After getting to know BTS within seconds Jin's became my absolutely bias because of his singing. His part in 'Truth Untold' always makes me cry. I was amazed to know that he had 0 singing skill before debut. Within 10 years with all his hard work and commitments now Jin is at the top of the world.
@@CodyMcManus Yes all the members of the vocal line are extremely good singers! Jin's voice stands out when he sings slow songs! V has a very unique vocal tone and even he sounds good in ballads! Jimin's high nigh notes are a pure bliss! For me obviously Jungkook is the most versatile singer, he can sing all genres! U shld also check out the rapline!
Jin's voice is really amazing. He can sing different genres but I like I him most when he sings Rock/Ballad songs. He just brings so much emotions when he sings that resonates with the listeners.
He sings with lots of emotions....he is not just singing and hitting those high notes, he is telling us a story and conveying the mesage of the songs❤️
Jin has said that he separates his online persona Jin from Kim Seokjin. Kim Seokjin is very quite and introverted in real life , his mbti is intp btw. Rm has said that how Suga appears on screen, who’s an Intp as well, is how Jin is in real life and vice verca. Jin isn’t as “goofy” as he appears he does so to light up the atmosphere and ease the tension and only shows us how much he wants us to see. He’s quite an enigma honestly
JIN's singing YOURS is so intense and powerful! It is full of surprises..., full of mix emotions and characteristics, thrill, suspense, sadness and yet so richly beautiful! JIN's control of his voice is PERFECT! Listening to this song YOURS JIN will carry you to a different side of this universe! It is AWESOME! So majestic!
I happened upon Jin and JK singing karaoke in an arcade room. It's on RU-vid. They are each singing different parts of "Wild Flower". The first time I heard him singing in his strong velvety lower range with this song I cried. He touched my heart and soul. The second time I listened to it I cried again. And so on and so on. JK sings in his lower register too....beautifully. Some army have said after listening to "Falling" that JK's voice is more mature. Well, he already had that mature voice when he sang "Wild Flower". JK has always had that lower register. Recently Jin sang all of "Wild Flower" on a RunBTS episode. I want him to do a proper cover of it...all by himself. I think it fits Jin's voice better. Plus Jin is my bias. The more solos to show off his amazing voice the better. Jin was also my last voice to discover....because he was never featured often. When I heard him sing in "House of Cards" I discovered Jin's true strong voice! "No way. No way. No way". He belted out those few lyrics with such passion and heartfelt emotion. I wish he would do another "jazz" song like that...by himself. Someday BTS will end, but Jin had no worries. His solo career is set. And he and his tired body are ready to quit dancing. So sing on Jin. Sing on and on and on. We are waiting for your future to unfold. You are so humble about your voice, but you truly have a great voice and sing with vitality and vigor and virtue. God Bless you on your life's journey!!!
This song came out as part of the original soundtrack for a new Korean drama called "Jirisan". V released an OST (Original Soundtrack) too last year called "Sweet Night" for the Korean drama "Itaewon Class". The members don't always do this, so it's a real treat when they do! I wonder if the creators of this song asked Jin to sing it because of his past songs? His voice does suit very emotional, rock ballad songs so much!
This OST producer is Slow Rabbit and all Jin's solo songs were produced by it except Abyss. So Slow Rabbit knows so well Jin and has worked with Jin all these years.
The creators of the drama have requested Jin bc of his previous songs and his strong vocals they wrote in a column. They wanted someone to portray the emotions and story of the song.
This is an amazing masterpiece. That voice and that feeling that only Jin has is all for me. Thank you so much for this reaction, Cody. I can't wait for more BTS reaction, please do it! 🤗
Thank you for this. Yes, Jin's Moon has that different feeling from his other solos, more upbeat, & it's managed to get into Rolling Stone's #5 of their list of "75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Times", the highest for BTS, K-Pop & other Asian artists. Now juxtapose Moon to Yours and you'll get to appreciate Jin's technique-driven vocal's versatility & his ability to pluck at our heart-strings with the excellent emotional rendition of his solo songs, thanks to his training as an Actor prior to becoming an Idol. This song is produced not by his company, but by the drama's music production company. You can tell the difference, right? About his personality, he's actually an introvert, but early on he'd decided to force himself to be the ice-breaker & mood-maker of the Group, especially being the oldest he'd felt that this was his responsibility to help his bros relax & be more confident when entering new situations. And has he succeeded! Re his English when singing, again due to his acting vocalization training, Jin's able to always enunciate his words well, and I can actually say that Jin's English when singing is among the best in the Group, as he's obviously prepared & rehearsed his lines well, even rewriting the pronunciation into Korean! Listen again to Dynamite, Butter, PTD, Fix You, and his solos songs. Of course, it's different from when he speaks, more spontaneously, so his accent comes out stronger, which is understandable as it's very different from Korean & he hasn't used it much prior to joining BTS.
I certainly have some more to check out! Every song I have heard from Jin I have loved 😊 Moon: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rJGPHB6HVag.html Epiphany: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-itdScVT7KAI.html
My fav voice. If Jin sing it, we can always feel each words. He can do so many technic but because he do it so smoothly it just feel light and blessed my ear
I was waiting for this :D You should react to Abyss by Jin. This song has a similar vibe like Yours and both songs have lots of high notes and shows Jin beautiful vocal
@@CodyMcManus please react to his letter about abyss as well, he explains the motivation and how abyss was born, it dealt with his real life struggles.
Hope someday our Worldwide Handsome can fulfill his dream to become an actor. ARMY know that how much love that Jin gave to film profession and through this song I hope people can come to love him as a talented people who can make people feel the emotions without having watched the drama yet.
Jin is really funny guy in front of his members and ARMYS … but in reality he also gets stressed and depressed often. Also now days he is unmotivated because of his age, some ‘fans’ are making jokes on his age that’s why😔 And jin is really very talented, but he is under appreciated. All this is just because solo stans who think that their favourite member is only talented person in the whole group!
I think that is true with all of us. No one is cheery 100% of the time, but I do like how Jin uses his humour to lift up the others when they are feeling down 😊
Jin's voice is just amazing, just like his personality 💜 His voice and breath control is superb. Please also react to 'Even if I Die it's You', it's also an OST from a drama sung by V and Jin 💜 Loved your reaction Cody!!
He once said he don't want show his dark side to armys and just want to show his happy and bright side to us. Because he just wants to make us happy by seeing him not worrying over him. He said he is showing his inner side and dark emotions through his songs. You really should check out his song Abyss. It have a beautiful background story too. Please check it out
Thank you for checking it out Cody! I think you have reacted to "Moon" and "Epiphany" already so another Jin's solo song is "Awake" from wings album and then there is another song very personal to him called "Abyss" It is not part of any album and was released on soundcloud as well. It represents his feelings of anxiety, doubt, and burnout. Jin has this clear boundary where we only know things that he wants to share with us. He has often said that he wants to share his cheerful side with us because we will get sad if he is to share his hardships more. There was a show called "You Quiz" where member shared some of their stories and Jin's side of story wasn't fully disclosed. Later when an ARMY asked him about it on weverse. he said that he asked them to cut it out because it was too sad. He has such a nice voice. We all love him so much
Jin's different vocal techniques and emotions being showcased in this song. he is so amazing...Thank you, Slow Rabbit, for doing the magical and soulful vocal arrangement! and this is such a beautiful song. the song has a rollercoaster of mood and it suits so well the atmosphere and plot of this drama Jirisan. Tearing while listening to this new masterpiece. Hope we will see Jin perform this live. It will surely be magical and powerful. About the la dda dda dda, they say it is a signal asking for help or SOS! I have started to watch the kdrama Jirisan and I see that this SOS is in line with its storyline. I even see that the last part of the la dda dda dda which started with the blending of Jin's high and low voice then to just the high voice and then to the low voice as a symbolism pertaining to the kdrama. the blend could pertain the the 2 main characters (male and female) then to the female then to the male. Both asking for help in the kdrama.
Jin amazes me. He had no singing (or dancing) experience and now he's a damn good singer. He has a unique voice that I think is easy to identify. He's just so damn talented.
When Jin released his song Abyss he said that he likes to be happy and outgoing for the fans and that he feels more comfortable expressing his feelings/personality through his music.
You were a joy to watch reacting to my bias!! I feel Jin has been underrated for quite some time and is starting to get recognized. Some of that is due to his amazing growth - his work ethic is amazing and he has improved throughout the years. I love hearing music like this from him - he is the goofball of the group but I think he hides an amazing amount of depth behind that persona. He's cheery for the benefit of others, so I'm glad he has the music to pour out the rest of his depth.
he usually jokes around for people watching the content have a good laughter. in reality or when cameras are not on him he is the most serious person. and he is vocally too strong so he sings songs that show it well.
It's ok that you didn't notice him before. That's cos in group songs he's given the least lines compared to the 3 other vocalists. At least you are willing to remedy that by acknowledging him now. It's not too late and thank you. But let's take a minute to also appreciate whoever it was who chose him to do the ost for this beautiful movie. They know real class and talent and have definitely made the right decision. If you think about it, we shouldn't be at all surprised at how well jin does in this song. Mr goofball takes his job very seriously and if you know what his work ethics is like, you wouldn't be surprised at how well he did the english parts of the song either. His focus is on another level. RM once said that jin is 'greedy' in the way he grabs at his task and practises over and over till the perfectionist in him is satisfied. He never shows that part of him though. He says that only he himself and nobody else needs to know how hard he works. Jin takes intruction and direction very well. He once said that he just needs to be told/shown what is wanted and he would follow to the T. I imagine the composer/music director guiding him through this song and him just nodding and saying, 'Ok, I get it. Just leave it to me.' Then finishing the recording and asking, ' Was that what you wanted?' I am gushing. I NEVER gush. This man gets me doing things I don't normally do. Damn jin.
Awake live performance, Abyss, Tonight are other of his solos you haven't reacted yet. Autumn outside the post office, Mom, I love you are his cover songs. All are my favorites. His songs are really something. Can listen forever
Thank you for your reaction Cody, Jin's voice is amazing🥺 You should also listen to V's song, sweet night. Itaewon class ost. This song is in full English. V composed this song for his best friend, the main actor in the drama.
I recommend "Moon", "Awake" and "Epiphany" - this song I know that you have heard before but you haven't listened to the live performance so...yeah :)) please check that. Btw, you should react to BTS live performance Japanese song "Crystal Snow" which is one of the most historical BTS' performances because of Jin's triple high note. Also, if you want to know the range vocal of Jin, you should react to "Jin the weakest vocalist" which prove how high level that Worldwide Handsome has
his vocal abilities and talent is off the charts and the song is soo beautiful and fits him perfectly im so happy he got to release this to show off... not gonna lie I was enjoying this reaction but your comment about his English really threw me off and calling it funny... coming off xenophobic.. his English is perfectly fine and he's been singing in it for a long time. I'd like to see you trying to pronounce korean. Jin is actually one of the members who has more ease communicating in english
