I've never paid too much attention to them but I was at SMTown Dubai last week and when they performed EVERYONE was in awe! No one could take their eyes off of them! I fell in love! Their stage presence and aura is no joke!

IKR?! They're famous for being Suit Shinki! LOL but yeah, they were one of the first that really went out and did legit choreo in really beautifully tailored suits. And then SuJu also did it for Sorry Sorry a few months later and then everyone else pretty much followed over the years.
The first time I heard it I was also reminded of SJ especially mamacita and black suit (got rhe tile wrong I think). Not that the songs are similar but it is the feeling or style? Tvxq has been having this style for their last combacks though ;). They often have something jazzy.

i really love how the choreography fit with the song so well and how different the sound is from recent kpop songs! you can def hear and feel the 15 years of experience in the industry just oozing off them!

Love it 😍 this is ‘swing’ and I guess they are the first in SME to try this classy style in ‘something’..and they rocked it I know😍 to whom have not really get into their music maybe can try listening to their title track by track (although their ballad are legendary too) and will probably know why they always called as a legend and hero of kpop idols

My ultimate favorite Kpop Group 💗💗💗 TVXQ with that classy, madurate and sexy vibe is just SO PERFECT!! I really like their music because to difference of the other SM group they are really dynamic. One thing you said i'm so agree with is that they bring something extra !!! Actually k-pop stars all can dance and sing but lack of personal style and charm very easy to get bored. TVXQ exalted.

TVXQ was one of the first boybands I ever got into and I was ENAMORED with them, gosh, it breaks my heart to see them not as 5 every time but so happy that Yunho and changmin are still this fabulous; I wish JYJ would do a comeback at some point as well T___T
TVXQ is the best group that brings in jazzy swingy vibes to their songs! If you check out "Something" and "Spellbound" you'd be surprised how well they incorporate all the swing jazz aspects into their songs.
this album (new chapter #1) was probably the first album by tvxq where i actually paid attention to their non-title tracks and it is GOLD and i don’t regret stanning them !

These are my boys, they are the reason why I found the kpop fandom. They were my first group and they still hold a very special place in my heart. I said when they made their comeback after the military service I would cry and cry I did.
You know, when the other 3 left, i got a bit worried. But then as time goes by, my worries are just unreasonable things. Even with just two of them, changmin and yunho, tvxq feels so merry. I thought they will be incomplete but i was wrong. Totally wrong. As they get mature, they show lots of shifts that transform them into tvxq that i had never seen before. And its superb! it feels and sounds so different yet very tvxq. You know what i mean, right?
The first thing that came to my mind while watching the MV: modern gentlemen wizards I have no idea why, but the visuals and how the MV was shot have a mystery, magical style to me. I really dig the concept, the suits, THESE MEN and the song! Maybe I should do a fanart of this and include something from the vibes I get here. ~
Yes, the first time I listened to it I was reminded with the sounded of "Black Suit". I like this song but I love Black Suit better because it has more variations of beats/tempo. I love both Super Junior and TVXQ.
Ska, I think is the genre you might be thinking of; albeit a bit of a slower pace than usual, the riff is pretty standard. And yes, it is quite different compared to the norm. Also, you might want to explore their backlog a bit if you've not been paying attention. Something, Spellbound, and Catch Me are all quite good I think. I Don't Know, Android, and Humanoids are also good from their Japanese comebacks, although I wouldn't recommend reacting to those for obvious reasons. It's also important to note that their albums as a whole are pretty solid. Very rarely do I find myself enjoying a full album like I do with most of their releases.

I think its a mix of Pop/Funk/Reggae/Swing? This is the first time as well i've paid attention to their comeback despite Catch Me as being the first song i've heard of them. TVXQ got a strong aura that threw me off at first but i've gotten used to them over the past 2-3 years of being a kpop/SM fan. And im glad you pointed out the classy theme TVXQ and SUJU had lately. I guess SM goes for that theme concept for their older groups. MV is very very high quality.

In love line they are more bright and casual. And they still pull it off well. I think it's more of a general thing that SM is going for rather then just their older groups but we'll have to wait to see SHINee, Exo or NCT to be sure.
