That two notes you heard was actually her doing it. She does opera songs and her whistle tone comes out naturally and she can mix it with her chest voice all together at the sane time especially when she sings ballad songs. Her vocal prowess is just one of a kind..

Lani had a residency in Las Vegas sometime in 2002 and was deemed the New Siren of the Strip. She was the first Asian to headline a main showroom in Vegas. I think one was in Flamingo. Her songs are iconic as well. Love her voice. 👌🏼💕

Yup- Lani M. and Regine V. are 2 of the most senior belters who do not offend the ears when they go to astronomical heights. Rather, they give you beautiful goosebumps! Ms. Lani is well-known because of her insane dynamics. She can sing whispery notes then shift into the high range without even noticing. Probably it is because of her opera singer background. Back when she's younger, her voice is quite similar to the tone of Whitney Houston. You should watch their performance of Greatest Love Of All with Regine and Jaya. They are the vocal trinity of that generation, and they all slayed that performance.

And I just watched her interview today with Korina that since 2020 she was already half deaf because of bacterial menengitis. Like she can't hear her own voice if the tone reaches a certain highness. 🏘🚚 So happy to see finally your RV to one of my all time favorites Lani Misalucha❤ She is one of our well respected power vocalists/belters in the Philippines, in the same class as Regine Velasquez, Jaya etc. So it has been a good role model for many of the younger generation singers, and I do hope the younger ones continues to learn and appreciate the voice caiber and professionalism our local artists have and not just get too carried away by outside influence. Lani Misalucha is one of the Pioneer Diva here in the Philippines dubbed her as the "Asia's Nightingale" a performer, Singer. I think she is currently live in the US. She had performed in some las Vegas Casino concert hall
