Hey folks, how are you ? Wanted to make a proper video on producing jungle with Reason 12, but after starting filming my self and trying to talk things, I just couldn't be really bothered with the whole thing anymore, I am slowly giving up on this project. I simply don't see anything exciting about it and the whole music scene in general. My album Surfaces will be going to be my last one for now or even forever. Anyway, I just ended up filming my screen without talking at all. Just to give you a little perspective - I started this track totally 100% analog with Akai and other gear, but after finishing, wanted to see how close I could recreate the sound of hardware inside the computer. I can say it isn't 100% exact, but close enough for you not even being able to tell whether it is hardware or software. This was my case. Hardware is awesome, and it sounds great, but it's the biggest con is inconvenience. And the cable mess it brings. And it's old, and I can't even be bothered to turn it on, at all. I re-attached soft sampler "Grace" to every MIDI channel. It is a free sampler player VST. I added RX950 plugin to every channel to give me that crunchy Akai texture. And I have only used Reason's built in channel EQ. On the master bus, I put an EVE MP5 EQ by Kuassa and simply used the Warm Master preset to give it a bit of something. And then just a gentle master comp on Reason's SSL bus compressor. That's it. Simple. I think it sounds analogishly warm and crunchy. No fancy editing, not too many tracks and simple processing.

Please, any kind of support will be appreciated.
I would like to THANK YOU all for being with me for all these years. I had planned to make more videos for this channel, but as I have said - I don't see myself in this role anymore. Music made my life wonderful for all these years, it helped me stay sane and got me to my 40 safely. But now, there are many turns in my life and other exciting things too, and there's just no time left for this project anymore. I am still making music on my new RU-vid channel, which in just 7 months got a lot more successful than IJO in 20 years. I am also running a business in filmmaking, and I am very much in to making films. And it also pays for my living, something I could never imagine as IJO. And as much as I hated money my whole life, money is something I very much fell in love with. It helps achieve my and my families dreams. So anything I do these days, I try to spend my time wisely, and I expect it to bring me some cash, otherwise there's no point to continue doing something for nothing. DOing things for fun might be a young man's game, but not when you have a family and a business to take care of. So..
Much LOVE to you all !
