Hello. I have a question. When recording in roland r-8 step mode, is it possible to create a pattern by moving from kick to snare in real time separately? Or do I have to stop, snare and record the pattern again?
Hey Faust and thank you for your question. If you want or need to change an instrument in a pattern and you are using the step mode you always need to choose the instrument before you hit the "play" button. If you need to erase an instrument you do exactly the same and delete the steps you have created in the 1st place. But you always have to stop the R8 in order to change instruments and then start the recording process again. Hope this is helpfull. Cheers!
