Hell yeah, can’t wait to scoop these one day. I’ve had the essentials for years now, but with sissy bar, you can see where the”yoke” strap is rubbing. It’ll also be nice that they won’t have the sag they get from tools or a 6 pack. You guys design and make such great products!
Just put these on my 21 Lowrider S. I have HD detachable sissy bar mounts and mounting was easy but, I had to go buy two more bolts. You will need two more 1.75 bolt for this to work with HD detachable set up. Went to the local hardware store and found no problem. When I called Thrashin to find out if I was doing something wrong I actually spoke to a person! Luke or Jake?, was awesome. Best costomer service.
Boom! XL1200CX with a High Tracker/Scrambler Style Exhaust that is very close to the shocks. I think this will clear the exhaust heat and make soft luggage well supported. Ability to move it up and down plus side to side. Bolts are parallel and turn signals already relocated! This will probably do the trick!
If you’re installing this on an fxlrs and you want to use the quick detach backrest you’ll need to use the softail spacers on the outside of the detach mounts. Those are the 4 thinner spacers supplied.
Awesome. I’ve had your escape bags on my Fxdb for 3-4 years now and they work great around town and for work. Are you guys ever going to release a set of bigger bags?
Only issue I came across was I have to put my sissy bar on before securing the bags with those lag bolts. The quick release wouldn’t clear. Little bit of a puzzle, but it works.
@THRASHINSUPPLY it's probably a crazy idea but I can't help but wonder how these would look on the Lowrider ST instead of the asymmetrical stock bags... I think you should try it just for shits and gigs...
Yeah boys! Your parts are off da hook! Saving up for a full foot control set up on my street glide. Boards, pegs, arms, linkage etc... Quick question you guys would probably know. Does a ST Street glide seat fit on a 2020 street glide S ? Trying to figure that out. Dealer wont let me check and swap seats to find out. Thanks guys!
Do you make all of your products only to fit Harley Davidson ? I have Yamaha roadster 1700 that I would buy bags and all of the other items you design ?
As simple as it is, some cnc company like sendcutsend could probably whip you up something you can design yourself really fast. It's well though out holes in a piece of plate steel with one bend.
Yo lance i love your stuff question i have a 2012 streetbob same as juan dog.. hey i only have one bolt amd then rear turm signals therese enough room for hardmount but not sure on second bolt location
The bolts are long with the "BOBBIN PINS" for the Sissy Bar. Remove the bolt and place the brackets on the outside of the Bobbin for the Sissy Bar. Might want washers or longer bolts you can find at ACE HARDWARE in Chrome or Black Chrome. Don't carry more than 100 pounds on each rack and you should be fine.
With stock exhaust possibly with the extra clearance at the highest setting. You may need to angle it a little. Your best bet is honest get an exhaust that will clear for luggage. Even if it clears it will be close and the heat of stock exhaust may cause damage to the bags.
