This product review of Rustoleum Outdoor Fabric Spray Paint was after I used it to update some outdoor cushions, and I will show you how you can do it too! You can use this paint to update the existing color of your outdoor fabric, or totally change its' color.

These turned out soo good! Can you post an update video to tell us how they feel & if they are holding up well? Any color transfer?

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF WASTING YOUR MONEY ON THIS INFERIOR AND REDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE PRODUCT!!!! EACH CAN, AT $13, ONLY COVERS A FEW SQUARE FEET.

@@joebloe1401 I tend to agree it's prlly not worth the cost. I've started fabric painting with chalk paint instead and it's turned out great so far. But I doubt it would last a long time out in the sun, since it's not made to be UV resistant. My fav chalk paint is from Walmart by Waverly brand, but I think Walmart might have discontinued it.

Good job. Most people don’t know that to get great results on coverage, it’s important to buy and apply the grey color first to prime! Then do your chosen color after.

Thanks for posting this. I just bought the red Rustoleum to rejuvenate an old patio umbrella. How did the paint hold up? Any fading or color transfer rub off during use?

I need to do a video on this, but overall they have held up well. They have been in a covered environment outside though which might have helped them.

Save your money. Just used it and unless you’re willing to spend a bunch of money you won’t be happy. It’s not cheap and doesn’t go far.

Would this work on striped colored cushions?

Possibly. I think it would be hard to keep the spray paint from bleeding between the different colors, but you could try to tape them off with plastic and give it a shot.

@@Therealethanparker I meant if it’ll cover the stripes. I would like them solid color.

It should do that. It might take a little more paint to do it, but I believe it should pull it off. Just make sure the cushions are as clean as you can get them before you start.
