Hi. It is not clear to me what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to rerecord the same piano part, because you do not like the sound of it or the record is bad ? Or do you actually want to capture the basic chord progression of the song based on the piano, to do something completely different after relying on this progression ?

I am currently trying to replace the piano. The original piano is way out of tune and it bugs my ears. I don't like how the piano is matching the verse vocals because to me it feels like they're fighting for space. But that's just me.

@@AnitaPotterProductions I do not think the piano sounds good too. However, I am not bothered by what it plays, but actually HOW it is played. It is played a bit too... robotic like to me, the rythm sounds very unnatural, and this is maybe also what makes you feel it does not sounds right. The timing of how it is played just does not fit well to the song.

The timing is a little off too. I've done stuff like that the help me with guide vocals but as far as using piano that follows the vocals I'm not really a fan of.
