An excellent video! This brought back many good memories from my time working at the Phelps Dodge Hidalgo Smelter in New Mexico. It nice to see sustainable in the mix for the environmentally conscious future for copper.

chalcopyrite (contain 35% sulfur) -> SO2 -> SO3 -> sulfuric acid(H2SO4), sulfuric acid is a by-product of copper producer.

I live near Tucson and see these anodes being trucked on I-10 all the time. Can someone tell me how they are used and by who?
