Good morning everyone! I hope you enjoyed seeing my morning routine and how I start my days. Let me know your #1 must in your morning routine. Thanks for watching!
I am 59 years old. I have done this routine as long as I can remember. I wake up and say my prayers, and then I read my Scriptures, get up and open my blinds make our bed and go to get my meds go to the bathroom have all the blinds open and start my day. I make sure I have some kind of light coming in because I have night blindness. And that comes with depression. My husband makes some breakfast and I eat very little and start my cleaning. I pretty much have it done a little after 10:00 am. I am so much like you, you could be my daughter. Lol💜💜💜💜💜💜
Good Morning! Making my bed is the first thing I do as soon as I get out of bed! Then letting the dogs out and starting the coffee pot, then all the bathroom stuff, then feeding the dogs, then getting dressed. We have no dishwasher but my dishes are washed and dried right after dinner. As for breakfast- protein smoothies are my go to on my work days, but I make egg muffins with different fillings: Beat 12 eggs (no added liquids), season and mix that up then pour equal amounts in a well greased muffin tins (I use butter to grease my tins and I fill half way since I am adding stuff). Then put some veggies and/or pre-cooked meats like sausage, bacon, ham in the egg then sprinkle with cheese (our favorite is mozzarella or feta, we usually do half and half), then bake in a pre-heated oven at 400F for about 15-20 minutes or until the center of the eggs do not jiggle. Let cool enough to eat or cool and more-package and freeze for a quick to go meal. You can use silicone muffin liners but it’s not necessary.
Hi Ashley! I must pray every morning to start off my day. I have heard breakfast casseroles are good and easy to make. I Google for my recipes. A quick breakfast for me is I buy Great Value frozen pancakes and maple sausage links and get hash brown patties . I heat up the pancakes for 2 min in my microwave. I cook the sausage links on the stove. Heat up the hash brown patties in my air fryer. They have breakfast sandwiches and bowls you can buy at Walmart. Ashley my main goal for 2022 is add people to my 2022 planner. I ask what their favorite Bible verse is . For a week everyday I read their favorite Bible verse and pray for them. Would you please let me know what your favorite Bible verse is? Would love to include you in my 2022 planner. I like hearing you talk during your videos. Enjoyed your video on morning routine. Tyvm for sharing. Have a blessed week with your family.
This Sunday morning, may you experience the hope of God’s blessings and His love. May today be filled with His wonderful presence. Have a Beautiful and Blessed day and week. See you next video. Stay safe. God Bless.
Opening the blinds shortly after waking up and making the bed has really made a huge difference. Thanks for the tip! Sometimes small tips go along way.
So glad to see you cooking more. I can’t eat when I first get up either. On Sunday afternoon or evening I do breakfast meal prep. That way when I get ready to eat all I have to do is heat it up. I normally make sausage, egg and cheese biscuits (wrap them up individual), I boil eggs for week, some weeks I make muffins or egg, bacon & cheese cups. I love to cook but just not in the mornings so it makes it so much easier to have it already done and all I have to do is heat whatever I’m wanting up in the microwave. I’ve found out that this works for me since I started trying to eat breakfast.
I’ve been committed to practicing “Atomic Habits”. Your videos work so well with what I’m doing already. When I need encouragement I put one of your videos on and before I know it, I’m back on track.
Good Morning ☀️ I’m like you a night owl. It’s just me and my 6 yr son and it’s still hard to maintain a clean home. I always look forward to seeing ya all💕😊
Making the bed in the morning really does seem to set the morning off so well. Laundry really does seem never ending, but is far more manageable doing it daily. We def wear out workout clothes all day, whenever possible so we are more likely to workout. Really enjoyed this video!
An easy low carb breakfast we do is breakfast cups....you can make them with your favorite ingredients, but we take a cupcake pan, spray no stick spray, line each cup with a couple slices of your favorite sandwich meat, break an egg in each one, salt and pepper and top with cheese. You can also add some chopped onion or peppers too. Then throw it in the oven! You can make lots if you want to meal prep, or if you have lots of people to feed, make toast if you want something more on the side!
I'm not a breakfast person and I don't want to cook first thing in the morning especially with a 2year old and a 2 month old. I love cooking egg muffins (just what we call them) cook scrambled eggs in cupcake pan. It great because you can grab and go. I store them in the refrigerator and all I have to do is microwave about 30 seconds. You can be fun with it too by adding cheese, bacon, etc. I normally cook it at night when kids are in bed. One egg per cupcake slot. Spray pan with nonstick spray. Beat the egg and pour into slots. Add whatever you like to them. Cook 15-20min @ 350° then let cool 5 min before removing.
Hi Ashley!! My morning routine is very relaxing, too. I get up and get ready and then make my bed. My husband and I are retired so we go downstairs and he makes coffee while I make breakfast. We have a leisurely breakfast and then do the dishes together. Then it’s on with our day!! You get more done than I do…lol. I’m going to try the breakfast burritos!!
You are just an inspiration...I love watching you...I could not do what you do here on “RU-vid”...you make it look so simple, but I know it’s not...I always look forward to your next one...Thanks for doing what you do 😊 and have a great week...😊
Aww thank you and thanks for appreciating the difficulty of running social media channels whether it be RU-vid, Instagram, Facebook or all 3 in my case lol! I do love being creative and bringing different content for everyone to enjoy and hopefully learn some things! Thank you so much for watching and supporting us!
I premake breakfast burritos & freeze them. Then we warm in the micro & fry in olive oil to make crispy in the morning. I also make overnight oats with almond milk. Then top in the morning however you like.
I hate unloading the dishwasher too so I've started assigning that chore to my kids. 🤣 I still do it from time to time, but having my kids help out more around the house really does make a difference. They get paid a weekly allowance for chores, so they're learning about managing money, along with other life skills. 💜
Gm I love to make my bed also and turn on Diffuser as I'm leave out the door at 6:40am. My favorite goto meal is egg muffin I put eggs, cheese and veggies in a bowl scramble them together then spray my muffin pan and pur the mixture in there then bake.❤
Watching your videos is always calming and I'm motivated to keep my house clean. I need to start with a load a day system, because it gets overwhelming to pile up laundry. Thanks Ashley I love it here, greetings from Namibia 🇳🇦 in Africa ❤❤
I’m late 😬 but I loved this! Another great one! I love smoothies! Berries, bananas, spinach , Greek plain yogurt, chia seeds, agave, coconut milk 😋. Can use any milk, juice, or water. And can add peanut butter etc. so many recipes! I
Thank you for the inspiring videos! One item that always drove me crazy, because it was often Grossly dirty, is the garbage disposal splash guard, rubber thingy. If you're not accustomed to pulling it out and cleaning it, you will be surprised how gross it is! I ordered a DANCO Disposal Genie Garbage Disposal Strainer, $10.98 (That is the brand I ordered from Amazon there are others.) I pulled the rubbery one out, tossed it in the trash and cleaned the disposal area. This one is so different from the traditional one that comes with the disposer, that it may take a bit to get used to it, but I think it's great! It's also easier to put in the dishwasher, if needed, but it is really easy to clean off with your sponge.
My go-to breakfast for the past month has been a toasted English muffin (great value brand), scrambled egg, and sprinkle of shredded cheese. The way I cook the egg is super simple. If you're just making something for yourself and don't feel like dirtying up a skillet, just spray a bowl with cooking spray, beat and season the egg, pop in microwave for 30 seconds, add shredded cheese and microwave for another 20 seconds or so.
Good Morning I like to make egg bakes the night before basically you mix your eggs and add whatever you want I usually add ham and shredded cheese spray a muffin pan add the mixture and bake @ 350 for about 20 minutes or until the eggs are done let them cool and put in a container then the next day I can pull how many I want and there really good and you can add whatever you like.
I really enjoy your videos. They are informative but also calming. When I was at work Friday, I was talking to a customer and shared how much I enjoyed them. I told her that she should definitely check out your channel. After talking, I went back to work. Before she left, she found me and asked for the name of your channel again. Hopefully, she will be another follower and enjoy the videos also. Thanks for all that you do.
I hate unloading the dishwasher too! I usually run the dishwasher after dinner. Then I put the dishes away in the evening before bed. If I forget and have clean dishes to put away in the morning, starts my day off on the wrong foot! Also, NO dirty dishes in the sink ever. They go in the dishwasher or get washed and put away. That’s what works for me anyway. Jackie from Indiana
I enjoy ALL your videos Ashley, but especially enjoyed this one!💕I appreciate the behind the scenes. We have too much in common lol- we’re a family of 3 too & I don’t enjoy cooking so I’m all about easy recipes.😅An easy breakfast favorite for us is: an egg casserole & baked bacon with toast. Let the oven do the work.👏🏼I just grab a small baking pan & put a layer of shredded cheese on the bottom, next layer of scrambled 6 eggs, then topped with a another layer of cheese. Bake for 28 minutes at 375 degrees. While that’s baking- I put 6 bacon slices on a cookie sheet & bake them for 20 minutes at the same temp. Then make toast in the meantime. Let the casserole cool for a few min before cutting into it. That’s it, I’m not slaving over the stove.👍🏼(You can also add anything to the casserole like sausage etc.) Happy & blessed Sunday morning!🤗❤️
I sometimes also make an egg casserole but I make it for the week using a dozen eggs and in a 9 x 11 dish. I've made it with everything but my favorite is with softened and diced cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped up fresh spinach. Just add it all to a sprayed casserole dish and cook low and slow or the sides will cook faster than the middle...so 325 degrees F and check at half hour but continue until done to your liking. Then divide into serving sizes and store in frig and heat up in the morning. Easy peasy 💜💙💚💛🧡
@@cathleenweaver6483 Yummm, with spinach- I need to try that!💕Yes, I forgot to mention- to spray the pan first lol. We use a small square pan (forgot the measurements but it’s not the rectangle banana bread one.) But what you shared is a great meal prep idea, thanks so much!🤗👏🏼❤️
@@forTHEHIGHESTname You are so welcome. My sister has been making this casserole for years. She sometimes uses ham slices. Really anything added tastes so delicious...it's the cream cheese and cheddar cheese that makes it so yummy. I'm not very fond of veggies so this at least gives me some nutrition from the spinach...hahahaha 💜💙💚💛🧡
Eggs in a basket! My family loves it, especially my boys. I use seasonal cookie cutters to make the hole for the egg, then sprinkle cheese on it in the end to melt a little. I use one large skillet (long rectangle that covers two burners) and I can cook 6 at a time in a single pan so it’s minimal on dishes as well. If I’m willing to wash a second pan, then throw some bacon on as well. Definitely a go-to for my family
Ashley one thing I heard from my grandmother and mom always wait 20 minutes to a half hour before making your bed everyday so i do that as well just something I do love the vlog you always do an amazing job 💗
I cook basically the same but I add a bag of the real bacon pieces and some seasoning. I pour mine into a muffin pan, bake on 350 until a toothpick comes out clean. I put 2 in a sandwich bag and then they are easy to grab, heat up and go. Just a thought. Good luck!!
Hi Ashley, 🙋♀ My go to breakfast is a 1/4 Cup of Organic Quick cook oats, a sprinkle of cinnamon, 1/2 a banana sliced, frozen blueberries & sliced strawberries 1/2 Cup of water, I cook mine in a 4 cup pyrex glass bowl at Power Level 6 for 4:44 in the microwave, when it's done I add some earth balance oleo & a splash of almond milk. It comes out perfect every time and is oh so yummy. I never really was able to eat eggs, sausage, bacon or pancakes, waffles, french toast every morning I usually only ate them as a treat. I also drink Herbal Tea Vermont Maple Ginger and eat a homemade muffin or a slice of gluten-free banana bread. Wow, I'm making myself so hungry, LOL, Yummy 😋 Take Care Ashley,
Yes some of our daily schedules can make it harder to do things everyday or at the same time everyday. No shame in that, you do your best and that’s all that matters! Have a great weekend Angie!
Ham cheese egg sliders are my go to, I make them in the beginning of the week then eat them throughout the week I just heat it up in the microwave for like 30 sec.
Hi Ashley, I’m the same as you, I don’t drink coffee either, strait into the shower every morning for me. It was fun getting a peek at how you get your days started too. I’m hoping you’re loving your new bedding and that it’s as warm and cozy as it looks on camera.😊 Watching from Michigan…Kim
Thank you, Ashley for sharing, making me feel much better about how my days at home work. I like you do my best work in afternoon evening, My work days require me to up at 515am, work 12 hour busy shift. So I so look forward to and enjoy my slow start days. I love sipping coffee and watching your videos in the morning.
Liked the music at the end. I make oatmeal for the week one evening. I mix the liquid ingredients, 1/2 plant milk 1/2 water, craisins, cinnamon, salt and cardamom. So delicious. I think opening the blinds makes me feel more upbeat. I like to see out.
I enjoyed this format video. And you walking out the bathroom sliding doors, lol extra, but I appreciate!😉💖 I sometimes make a breakfast casserole when kids are home; tear up bread on the bottom of a 9x9ish dish, u could probably use tortillas or hashbrowns too, fry sausage & put over bread, beat up 8 or 9 eggs, spalsh of milk, s&p and shredded cheese, pour over sausage, bake 350°, 30 min. Some people add rotel. I do the same & lay in bed a while w phone, make bed, open blinds, no coffee!😉😖 Although one thing I never see anyone do... I always brush off my sheets & pillows before making beds. Dead skin cells, hair & fuzz I think would build up. Always love the gold and white in your kitchen! Have a wonderful week!🌻🌷🦋
Happy Sunday. Because of you I have a morning routine of making my bed and opening blinds. It definitely does make you feel good. Love your motivation and kindness for sharing you and your family
Thank You for sharing! I’m definitely a evening person! I need all the motivation in the morning! Have a blessed with to you and your family! Oh I appreciate all the videos I know it’s a ton of work!
Enjoyed this behind the scenes video. I don't know how you can film your next video while editing the current one. And I'm sure your already brain storming the ones after that. But then again you've been doing this for awhile. That was a very relaxing video. I wish my morning were calm and chill like that. Instead we run around getting everything together for the kids trying to get out the door on time for work. My goal is to have a chill routine.
Good Morning from Chicago!! One of my go to recipes for breakfast: I make scrambled eggs and season them with Mrs dash salt pepper and add a splash of milk after they are cooked I heat up corn tortillas add the eggs some cheese (shredded!) and some franks hot sauce! So delicious and easy!
My breakfast of choice is a red bull 😂 I’ve never been a big breakfast person. Since having my son I try to make double whatever I make him for breakfast so I can have something ready when the hunger hits but if I don’t end up eating it, he usually will eat it for lunch or I’ll save it for his breakfast the next morning!
Love this! And Tyger running after you guys at the end!😂🤪 We cook bacon and keep it in the refrigerator. And hard boiled eggs too (I don’t like hot eggs.). I warm up a bit of butter and some bacon while my bread is toasting- and in minutes have a full breakfast! 🥰😘
I like making egg bites in a muffin tin , just brown & crumble sausage put in bottom of muffin tin, top with cheese and beat up 6/7 eggs and add into cups and bake . They keep and to heat up later also. Also love brioche bagels from Aldi with Land o lakes cinnamon butter .
Hi Amanda, Letting light in the house in the morning definitely gets my day started. Breakfast is hit or miss with me as well. It looks delicious! I was on edge when you were cooking with the handles pointed out to the front of the stove. I always turn handles the the side because I am afraid that I will bump it and knock the skillet off of the stove. 🤣 Great video! Routines helps me to keep my day on track.
The first thing I do as soon as I get up is make my bed...otherwise I’d be tempted to get back in it . I’m not much of a breakfast person so a lot of times I’ll grab a yogurt and some fruit. I’ve tried that burrito recipe before and it’s delicious !!! I added green and red bell peppers , mushrooms and onions to it and it was delicious 😋
Isn’t it funny watching these I notice we all do about the same things every morning. Lol 🙏 its refreshing to realize this as I grow bored of making my bed every morning. :) lol
I like to start a load of laundry, put away dishes and make sure I have dinner out to defrost, feed and water dogs, make beds, swish and swipe bathrooms, and make sure we have whatever we need for day ready to go in mudroom to grab on the way out door. A quick weekday breakfast for us our bagels with cream cheese, slice of ham and fried egg.
I make omelette cups. Basically mix all the things you would in an omelette (cheese peppers, ham, the list is endless). Then instead of frying I bake them in cupcake pans.
The quality of your videos is always soo great. I can tell how much dedication you put into your channel. This is amazing 💕. Congratulations. I know this probably takes a while to do. It shows how much you care about what your followers see
Best breakfast, sorry, I don't eat until lunch. One thing, though, a frittata with meat, cheese, and vegetables in any combination can be made in a quiche pan or in a cupcake pan and eaten throughout the week with toast or tortillas for any meal. Holy cow, S has grown so tall!!!
Hey Ashley:) We also make breakfast burritos. You can put some hashbrowns in air fryer and when done cut them longways and put on your burrito. You can jazz it up by switching to Mexican cheese and add salsa;)
Good morning your breakfast looks so good. Right now it is just me and my husband. He has to be at work by 5:30. So I get more done in the morning. My daughter maybe coming to stay with us for a little bit. I am 50 years old now so my hormones are not doing good right now. So it is harder for me to get things done. Our church serves is starting soon. So everyone have a blessed day
It's a rainy chilly day all day today so this is a nice video to just watch snuggled under a blanket. I agree with you about cooking smells. Bacon smells delicious while cooking but afterwards I hate the smell. I enjoyed this video and hope you have a great week.
Hey Ashley! I enjoyed your morning routine video of what you do!! It’s good to have a routine, I never do one but then again I guess what I do everyday is a routine for me I just never thought of it as one. That burrito you made looked delicious 😋🤤 hope you guys have a blessed week!
As always enjoyed your content. Especially explaining what goes into the videos. Really like the leather chair in the master, but every time I see it I think Chase's office. Thanks for sharing!
Love a good motivational morning route video! Lately I have been eating oatmeal with chia seeds, peanut butter and jelly and it’s so delicious. And of course super fast to make!
Your voice overs are the best. Great music choices and content. I’m from VA and love your accent. Only been to OK once to visit my brother at Vance AFB. Thank you for all you do!
Hola. Happy Sunday. I'm with u on making the bed in the AM. It makes me feel good & sets the tone for the rest of my morning. I need brightness. It literally makes me happy. Its so gloomy this time of year. All windows must be open. The sink clean was pleasing to watch. Tyger was at the door like, wait for me 😅. So cute. TFS have a great week.
I love your bedroom! What size rug do you have under your bed? We are getting a king size bed soon and I am trying to figure out what size would look right underneath
That was good. My breakfast is even easier than yours. 😊 I have a slice of avocado toast, an over medium egg with a little side of berries. I also keep athleisure wear on all day (unless meeting friends for lunch or dinner) and do my workout routine in the evening. It was nice to see your routine.
I get my phone and coffee first thing. Lol. Then shower etc. I’m so going to do that recipe. Easy and looks yummy. Another great vid ty. You never disappoint us. ❤️❤️❤️
Could we get a day in the life/routine of Mr. Til Vacuum to us part? I feel like now that Chase is home and doing stuff behind the scenes it would be a fun video to see! lol One easy and delicious breakfast recipe I do it Chaffles. You need a mini waffle maker (I use the Dash one) Take 1 egg and whisk it in a measuring cup with your favorite seasoning while the waffle iron gets hot. Once its ready take some shredded cheddar cheese and sprinkle in the waffle maker and add just enough egg it covers the bottom. The egg will rise so don't use too much lol add a little more cheese to the top and close the lid for about 2 minutes. It should make two chaffles. Next add a slice of cheese and a pork patty or bacon. You can add sweet peppers or onion., anything you like on your breakfast sandwich. It tastes so much better than any breaded breakfast sandwich! Less than 5 minutes. You can also make a few to store for later, they warm up nicely. Check Pinterest, TONS of Chaffle recipes but this one was the easiest. :)
That’s a good concept for a video, but it would just be of him working on the computer, phone or homeschooling haha. We actually have a mini waffle maker for Savannah! That recipe sounds yummy!
