I started learning Spanish and Korean again this summer! I've also been spending time to learn how to shape my nails with a file (they get really long naturally), it's really hard. I'm basically just studying, but it's way more fun and fulfilling than school.
I'm learning Spanish too :D if you ever get tired of studying, watching RU-vid videos helps a lot to improve listening and it's more fun for me at least! Some Spanish RU-vidrs I watch are Thelma Clatza and Bola de arroz, and Korean vlogs are a whole genre, so Buena suerte :3
My summer has been pretty good! We’re both going to be freshman this year so I’m also super excited for college! I am in kind of the same situation as you where I am trying to exercise more. I have always liked the idea of being a runner, and I’m pretty proud to say I’ve been running consistently for about the past month and a half! I can actually run for a whole mile which I never would have been able to do before. I don’t have much going on, but it has been nice to be able to focus on my own health and happiness, especially because I want to keep these habits when I go to college! I hope you are doing really well 💕

for the book cover, you should sew a piece of fabric on the inside of the covers to keep the crochet in place! like a little flap pocket thingy along the sides or corners would do the trick ❤
i would love a crochet video ! double crochet is always so hard for me, but if i skip a stitch in the next beginning row it can create more of a straight edge! 💌

okayy soo i will share you a few tips from me uncle!! if you don’t like counting stitches or you want them to be the same through the whole project use stitch markers for every 10 stitches or at the beginning and end of the row so you don’t skip at the end! also for a straighter edge it could be helpful to stack 2 single crochets on a double crochet project!! this helped me sooooo much!! happy crocheting peeps🫶🏽 hope this was helpful 🥰
My summer is going great, :D I made a lot of new friends, I still have a lot of plans ahead and everything has been great so far. CROCHET TIPS! 1) You should try and get and ergonomic hook as its better for your hand muscles! 2) Stitch markers are good for recognising the end of rows, which could help yout rows stay even (they are also really useful for other things, a very worthy purchase, a crochet staple☺)! 3) And finally if you want a straighter edge you could do a few rows of single crochets along the sides, top and bottom of your projects! hoped this helped! xx love your vids ❤
i started crocheting 2 summers ago and honestly, just crochet, thats how to improve. u gotta practice the stitches n stuff. make a bunch of projects and each one will b better than the last. also clothes r much easier than u think :)

crochet tip: if u are js starting maybe try doing woobles stuffed animals! They are suprr cute and easy to make and once u get more advanced you can go onto the intermiediate level x

i started going to the gym around may and i've been taking learning spanish more seriously! i'm doing a summer course for college right now and i'm also trying to find a second job cuz i want to save the monies.
I honestly just can't believe my winter break (I live in Brazil) is about to end already... as a senior year student I was supposed to be studying for ENEM (kinda like sat) to go to an university and all those stuff and I've barely studied anything. But at the same time it's so wierd to think I feel bad for not studying at a moment that literally exists for resting lol. Hopefully I'll be able to study more once the classes are back, but overall my winter have been pretty good (it feels so wrong to say this while everyone is on summer), hope y'all had nice summer/winter too :)

crochet tip , i hate to say it . but like . practicing will make your stitches more even as you get more + more comfortable and the stitches becoming muscle memory or whatever . I've only been crocheting for a few months and have improved a ton just as i do more projects !! also !! if your hands get sore when crocheting i've heard you can get compression gloves to help . they look dumb but like . ya !!
my summer's been p fun! ofcourse with my phone being in hand it's quite inevitable that my mind goes idle every now and then lol but at the start i made it a goal of mine to read a new book every week and to write short novels, ideas and other works as a hobby! i picked up reading and writing consistently until my mind got bored nd wanted to move onto smn new:/ i mostly draw art now and have a sketchbook where i draw traditionally but the funner process for me is to draw digitally w/ a new tablet my mom bought me. ^_^ i do that but side by side i picked up playing the electric guitar as a hobby BECAUSEE i got really reallyy into and addicted with electric guitar covers. it's going well so far and i even have a eguitar journal where i record songs i'm learning/have learned nd new techniques nd stuff that i've learned! i totes understand why people say learn an instrument now ^o^

We never go out and I go every day working with my mom and helping her we never get a day off but I just wish we could go out but I am just waiting for school to start I miss school
id say my summer has been pretty good so far, well except covid basically came back from the dead and found me. ngl i thought it was gone. 👀 and i do also have a couple crochet tips. when I started out it was mess, uneven stitches and random loose ends which resulted in some of the goofiest lookin things. i also really had no concept or understanding of what I was doing when i followed the patterns or why i was doing it. years later, I can say im much more confident in crochet. ok so basically just practice makes progress. as you crochet more, you will learn more. reading and following the patterns really helps aswell as watching tutorials. for the actual crochet part keeping a loose but firm grip on the hook is ideal. and yes, you should count your stitches. ;) moral of the story, the more you crochet the more consistent your stitches will be, the more you will learn, and the more beautiful your crochet pieces will become overtime. phew that was mouthful 😮💨😮💨 hope that was somewhat helpful and not too confusing. and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your summer ❤❤
